WE Pakistanis will have to wait. I don’t think J35 will be delivered next years . Chinas piority is its navy’s fujian aircraft carrier needs to be equipped first with carrier based J35s . And then followed by Chinese Airforce. So initial production of j35s is to full fill chinas needs. I think we are looking at least 3 years wait? Unless our Chinese friends know better.

New rafales will start arriving at end of 2028 or after that. Tejas are not getting engines. They wont buy SU-57.

I think we are good for 2-3 years and can wait. In the meantime maybe add 30 JF17B3 and 30 J-10CE. That would really help in replacing around 100 mirages 3/5 and F7

Aircraft arent the immediate focus - AD and loitering systems along with BMs are to get the upper hand or "parity" at a minimum.

Even with additional Rafale's India will still struggle getting a longer stick so it too is focusing on networked ops - with much less enthusiasm for new jets.

I agree. On one hand $1 billion will hardly get us one squadron of J-10CE or JF-17B3. On the other hand investing the same amount in production of latest highspeed LM (like sarkash for example) will give us 20000+ LM. We can send 500 each day and still remain able to sustain it for 40 days.

J10 / PL-15 is already sufficient to deal with Indian IAF: I still think PAF should order additional JC10s. Because there is a possibility China might not want to upset regional stability with introducing j35s. Here’s my theory what you think? Pakistan today is more inclined to safeguard Middle East peace on behalf of China, rather than focusing its efforts on the seemingly fragile India. Given China's status as an East Asian nation and its principle of non-interference in other countries' internal affairs, it is not suited to intervene in Middle Eastern matters. Therefore, the J-10CE is far from sufficient to safeguard Middle East peace; only a fifth-generation fighter jet can counter a certain country's fifth-generation aircraft. Jc10c for india j35 against small hat people!

J10 / PL-15 is already sufficient to deal with Indian IAF: I still think PAF should order additional JC10s. 20 J-10CE is not sufficient at all. Last time Indian navy didn't participated in the war. But what if next time you are facing SU-29 full squadron from their aircraft carrier attacking Karachi while many squadrons of SU-30MKI and Rafael attacks Kashmir, Islamabad, Punjab and sindh . ?

I dont think we will be able to effectively repell such an attack from 5-6 sides with handful of J10C, some 30 block 3, and 100 km ranfe F16 bVRs. We need more J-10C.

Yes, but if this scenarios indeed happens, then you have a full blown-out war and not some border-skirmish and then even 20 more J-10CE doesn‘t really matter.
