This was all so predictable after the failure of Islamabad agreement.

Both sides will be in a "No war, no peace" situation and both sides (and the world!) will suffer, Iran disproportioantly so. All that talk of US running out of ammo has gone now. US can keep this up for years as they expand their weapons making capacity, and Iran can absorb hits.
