Iran launched undisclosed second wave of attacks on US Navy ships​

Iran launched an attack against U.S. Navy ships on Monday that the U.S. military has yet to acknowledge, according to U.S. officials, after firing ballistic missiles at an aircraft carrier and a guided-missile destroyer over the weekend.

No American ships were struck in the attacks, but Iran’s recent attempts to hit American naval assets are raising alarm that the regime is using more sophisticated weapons and could be getting assistance from China or Russia, according to the officials.

The attacks highlight Iran’s willingness to go on the offensive as the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports weighs on the country’s economy. They also risk escalating the conflict, since the U.S. has promised to take action against such attacks.

After Iran’s attempt to hit an aircraft carrier over the weekend, the U.S. struck three Iranian oil tankers that it said were funding Iran’s military and proxy groups. The tanker attacks were designed to send a powerful message that the U.S. won’t tolerate attacks on Navy ships, officials said.

Iranian officials have claimed they are using new missiles with advanced features to target the American warships, according to Iran’s state media. Such missiles could have electro-optical seekers, which enable them to maneuver toward a moving target using imagery, weapons analysts say.

However, Iran would still need to know the approximate location of U.S. warships at the outset of its attacks, raising concerns that China and Russia could be helping Iran track the locations of American warships, officials said.

Iran unveiled a medium-range ballistic missile known as the Qassem Bassir with the seeker technology last year, according to John Caves, senior research associate at the Wisconsin Project on Nuclear Arms Control. Other Iranian missiles, like the Khalij Fars, also have the technology, he said.

U.S. officials hope that the blockade and crushing sanctions will bring the Iranian regime to its knees, but so far, the regime has refused to back down and is stepping up threats against U.S. Navy vessels. The U.S. has 19 warships supporting operations in the Middle East, according to a Navy official.

Plus once someone uses tactical nukes. China/Russia/NK going to start selling tactical nukes like hot cakes and dozens of countries will possess nukes suddenly. China wouldn't hesitate for a second to use tactical nukes if Japan interferes in Taiwan and neither would Russia with Ukraine. I also believe none of that will happen as well.

But I have to comment on your statement that North Korea will send nukes to USA. The USA could survive a nuclear attack from North Korea because North Korea doesn't have that many icbms yet


On the other hand, The US has the power to annihilate North Korea. The North Korean regime's number one goal is to stay in power
