Eventually everything must come to a stop, war will too but at what cost. We hope some miracle can happen, Chinese economy faltering because of this may force them to act.So your saying never going to happen
Sure but if Iran stops the war it means surrender. China can if they decide to force both parties to the table they have clout with all parties.Oh please. Iran is the adult in the region.
Iraq closes Shalamcheh border crossing with Iran
We did not hit Iraq hard enough, they remain an American proxy
Although American troops supposedly have a deadline to leave Iraq by the end of this month, so we can expand our operations in Iraq after that
Iraq knocks out 5% of the global oil supply and Yemen liberates Bab al Mandeb
And the first thing Iran rushes to do is sign an agreement about the Strait of Hormoz
What kind of stupidity is this? They couldn’t even wait one week? The politicians are directly working against the military. Iran better be getting something big out of this deal.

I agree with your point of view.I think many people are misunderstanding the IRGC. They see IRGC not killing many Americans and not doing as much damage as they would like and they think IRGC is incompetent.
The truth of the matter is IRGC is playing the long game of survival. They want to wait out Trump and deal with a democrat government that would remove all sanctions. Killing American soldiers in large numbers or doing large amounts of damage means that American people will begin supporting the war more and a deal will be harder to make in the long term. Thats why the IRGC is just doing retaliatory strikes and bunkering down until they can cut a good deal with the democrat government in 2 yrs time. IRGC biggest fear is having America destroy their civilian infrastructure which can cause widespread anger and protest within Iran and overthrow the IRGC. This is why they are playing the long and timid game and its working.
I know people want to see big explosions and mass casualties but IRGC is only interested in managing their own survival and cutting a deal in the long term with a government they can trust (democrats)
Frankly, discussing the betrayal by Iran’s reformist government is now pointless. The time has come to address the incompetence of the IRGC and the SNSC in failing to curb this.
Seeing Iran’s weak stance, even Iraq is attempting to break away. At this juncture, the IRGC should indeed abandon its current policy toward Iraq; instead, it should massively expand support for the PMF to create an organization more powerful than Hezbollah, and openly aim to establish a "state within a state" in southern Iraq.
