RIYADH: The coalition supporting Yemen’s internationally-recognized government intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile fired by Houthi forces toward Riyadh, its spokesperson Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki said on Saturday.

Al-Maliki said the interception was carried out in accordance with the rules of engagement, and the missile was destroyed in the air without causing damage.

He added that coalition forces were monitoring developments and taking the necessary measures to protect civilians and vital facilities, and to counter threats to the Kingdom’s security.

Al-Maliki said the Houthis’ continued attempts to target civilians and civilian infrastructure in Riyadh, a city of more than eight million residents, reflected the militia’s intransigence and deliberate targeting of civilian areas.

He added that air defenses had thwarted Houthi attempts to target civilians and civilian infrastructure in Bish, Taif, Farasan and Yanbu.

Al-Maliki said the coalition leadership had the right to take any measures it deemed appropriate, in accordance with international humanitarian law and customary rules, to deter further Houthi attacks.

Your question makes no sense and it feels like you are just arguing for the sake of it. There is a reason they are always referred to as the Iran backed Houthis.

What is the reason that compels Iran to have proxies encircling Saudi Arabia? Iran just need a more fairer price for Houthis, they have no issues in abandoning them and don't risk internal division for doing that either.

If you have seen an any Asian Rhino, then you have seen a unicorn. Unless you are a literalist who cannot separate fact from fiction.

You have become so mentally constipated that you are now attempting to draw a unicorn out of a rhinoceros, just because the comparison was offered to sjhow, what happens when a man begins to manufacturing elaborate stories, where a little thought would have sufficed.

thats funny actually, keep going!

The myth of the unicorn came from the first encounters with the Asian Rhino.
