The way this abduction was done to me says that the military, otherwise known as 'deep state' or more commonly 'establishment' simply doesn't care about optics anymore. They know that we all know that they are the ones running everything. They also know that there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it. What little opposition a civil govt or judiciary could have put up has been neutered through new laws.

If PTI were sincere we would have seen a changed KPK since 2013. Its time for a change.

The vote in Pakistan doesn't mean anything. If they only did the elections with army officers, their families, friends and white collar workers in KPK, PTI would have been voted out long ago.

When you look at the overall history of the Pakistani Army, you find only incompetence. Sheer humiliating incompetence. They can't fight, they can't plan, they can't predict, they can't debate, they can't think. Without the airforce covering their asses they'd be a laughing stock.

I had read other books on east Pak, but not the one from siddiqe saalik.

The Army, just like any organisation is a sum of the people within it. PAF is operating from the same third world shithole and look at its stellar record of doing its job well and not meddling in matters that do not concern it.

I disagree with this notion of Bajwa damaging the current army. Bajwa was brought up in a system from his cadet days that rewards badmaashi. It is his predecessors and them before who started all this. Some of us on this forum we like to console ourselves by saying "Oh nahi yaar, bas upar ke 2-3 general kharab hay, baqi saaray mohib ul watan aur hafiz e Quran hay". I think we need to lay that cope to rest.
