So the Americans are happy to let these F-35s fly around operational S400 infested areas in Jodhpur(i appreciate that India only has 2 operational squadrons left now post Sindoor but still..), but not for Türkiye to get these same F-35's delivered to Türkiye, even Turkish S400's sit unassembled in war houses..

Of course, the Israelis have been flying F-35s near Latakia where the Russians had their own S-400 system active for decades. They just needed an excuse.

In all honestly what does India learn or gain from these exercises? It cannot network with any of the US aircraft, it cannot link to US AWACs and its fighters will all be easily tracked and destroyed from miles away by F-35s

This seems like a pure play PR stunt

The engine is ready because it has been under development for the last 40 years. It was originally designed for the Tejas with an afterburner. However, the Ghatak UCAV will take another 7–8 years to materialise.

Although its primary role is that of a stealth bomber, it can also fire air-to-air missiles if required. The Ghatak is a massive platform, weighing around 15 tonnes, compared to the Tejas, which weighs approximately 13 tonnes. Indian Air Force is expected to acquire 80 such drones, with their induction anticipated to begin after 2033.

This is a scaled-down version of the Ghatak UCAV, 15 times smaller than the original and weighing just 1 tonne. It was developed to test the Ghatak’s flight control laws, testing conducted in 2022.

So India has been operating Mirage 2000's all this time without any simulators? A bit late in the day to induct simulators for a platform that should be replaced by the Tejas, etc.
