Ali Amin Gandapur and if he was not enough of a bad choice they went with Sohail Afridi to replace him. Their job was to govern that province, but all the energy was spent on marching towards Islamabad every now and then. 13 years and province fell back to terrorist attacks. And the "solution" was to impose directly Military Rule aka Governor Raj in the province? If PTI's 2/3 supermajority can be overrun like that — what makes you think a simple majority of PTI in federal govt would've survived if military establishment decided to get rid of them?

When people overran military installations on 9 May 2023 — they were branded as "terrorists" & convicted. When military establishment overruns civilian institutions — it is hero worshipped as "saviors".

Just saying.... when Mr Jinnah was alive east pakistan was part of the constitution but in 1974 constitution it got removed. Just because constitution says so does not mean it should be treated as verse from Quran.
In current Pakistan's situation... no doubt PTI can pull 2/3 majority.... what mechanism do they have that after Imran khan dies that PTI would stay intact and not make a mess of the nation? Well, when you put it like that, it seems military establishment didn't actually learn any lessons from its past debacles. Instead, it used those debacles to permanently close remaining legal loopholes that could potentially become a challenge to its absolute dominance in Pakistan.

This is actually pretty straightforward people who think of one thing..how to make money and retire overseas(none of the above retire on islands )

Having 2/3rd majority is not a green light or a license to go around and try to prove you haven't matured and still can harm the national interest and harmony. Nawaz wanted to be a Ameer Ul Momineen if you remember.
