Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

@Irfan Baloch
Many Pakistani have this mentality of ‘subhanallah! look at these wonderful Rich Arabs! Allah has blessed them with so much wealth and status!’

I’ve heard it from members in my own family, and I am not convinced that the root cause is always Arab vs Persian or Sunni vs Shia - those same relatives would then also demean and ridicule the Palestinians!

It never made sense to me, other than that these Pakistanis continue to cling to South Asian class systems, and the GCC Arabs with their bling and gaudy displays of wealth are the kind of ‘class’ these people aspire to.

Add in the fact that the holiest sites in Islam are located there and the Prophet was an Arab from the region, and you end up combining religious/historic reverence and respect with enormous wealth.

The final product - this rather servile attitude we see.

But when generations see little to no substantive change at home, and continue to lose hope of ever seeing change, attitudes like these towards a people considered ‘successful’ and ‘our kin’ are perhaps just a way for a people to continue to have hope.

Yemenis historically have remained client state of persia, protecting their interests, nothing new here. The reason you read traditions glorifying yemenis and cursing death upon arabs.

Substantiate that...

The zaidi Imamate remained a state for over a thousand years. Vilayat Faqih materialized recently. A totally new doctrine or theology altogether. The quiet school, mainstream Twelver Shi'i belief still exists in it's native Najaf. Heck, it wasn't a state religion till Shah Ismail made it one just a few centuries ago ... Persia or Iran wasn't even majority Shi'i back then...

However that would be post Islam Yemen... prior to that just over 50 years of Persian rule exists, ever. Even Romans tried... in fact Abraha was a Christian, a slave of a roman merchant and when became the king, was an ally of Roman Empire. In fact, Yemen had no reason to accept Persian suzerainty... they were Christian or Jewish... Jewish tribes ruled their parts.

The history of Yemen is extremely rich..

Taiz is what the houthis are focusing on at the moment

It seems after Taiz, Houthis will focus elsewhere but for now that is the battle where resources are sent towards. Other areas are not areas of focus or concern as Houthis believe they can recapture any potential lost territory with ease after taking a major city.

Heroes of Taiz:
Taiz is not Sana'a, you Houthi terrorist militia
The tribes of Taiz are not like the tribes in Sana'a.. In Taiz, you will see nothing but the Day of Judgment

( Confirmed from Ma'rib )

New field advance for our forces in the Raghwan Directorate, Ma'rib Governorate, today Wednesday, where the offensive military operations have begun since dawn today.

Our armed forces are 85 kilometers away from Sana'a International Airport.

The terrorist Houthi militia claims a siege, and practices it against Yemenis with Iranian missiles and drones; it strikes their capabilities and infrastructure, and targets their travel outlets and livelihoods.

In the past hours, the militia targeted:
• Aden Airport with a ballistic missile.
• Al-Rayyan Airport in Al-Mukalla with three ballistic missiles.
• The sponge factory in Birbasha, Taiz.

This is the militia's approach: whenever it is broken on the battlefield, it pours its terrorism and aggression onto the lives of citizens, and these aggressions will not grant it an exit; Operation "Dawn of Yemen" continues until its objectives are achieved.

I shared Middle East Research and Information project, Human Rights watch and the page of Amman Message which has 84 countries as signatories. Affirming to not do takfir on certain minority groups including Shi'i.

It would have been better if you hadn't replied at all... better return to the hole you came out of now...
You still have not proved that Saudi government considers or treats Irani Shias as kuffar. That was your claim in the first place.

Mecca Agreement: Turkey Begins with Air Defenses and Experts

Ankara is moving towards supporting Saudi Arabia's defense capabilities with specialized technical personnel in air defense and electronic warfare.

Support Without Ground Confrontation

Ankara – Turkey's participation in the Mecca Agreement for joint defense with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan is focusing on technical expertise and defense capabilities in its first phase, aiming to enhance the Kingdom's ability to counter aerial threats, particularly missiles and drones, in light of escalating Houthi attacks. This approach reflects a path of military cooperation that does not necessarily begin with the deployment of combat troops, but rather with providing specialized personnel and technologies that support Saudi defense systems.

These statements place Turkish participation on two parallel tracks: technical and defense support that is being worked on, and a legal framework that may later allow for a broader military presence, without this meaning that the decision to deploy ground forces has already been made.

This approach aligns with Ankara's strategy of leveraging its defense and industrial capabilities to expand its security relations with countries in the region, while keeping military deployments subject to political and legal considerations. Technical assistance allows for tangible support to Saudi Arabia without automatically implying the participation of Turkish forces in combat or ground operations inside Yemen.

In conclusion, Turkey's participation in the Mecca Agreement begins with air defense and technical expertise, while the deployment of military personnel remains a possibility requiring parliamentary approval and a clear definition of the mission's nature. Between these two paths, the extent of Turkey's role depends on the evolution of security threats and the three countries' agreement on translating their joint defense commitments into practical measures, without assuming that technical cooperation necessarily leads to a ground intervention.

This is how the Houthis escape and leave the henchmen behind in Taiz

This isnt new - the IRGC has had links with Kandahar for over a decade now including AQ and TTA groups - however they are at loggerheads with ISKP.
Yes, it's no more a secret that Irani mullahs have deep links with terrorist groups. Now, according to this Khorasan Dairy guy, Iranian mullahs want to convert the terrorist TTA into an Afghani version of the Houthi proxy. If true, that is indeed alarming. Rogue Iranian mullahs supply ballistic missiles and drones to their proxies. If that happens in Afghanistan too, that will have grave consequences for Pakistan.

Iran being a global pariah and rogue state, no country is willing to accept terrorist Irani mullahs into any alliance. The only option these sick-minded mullahs have is creating terrorist proxies in the region.

The TTA terrorists are as much blackmailers as the Irani mullahs themselves. If TTA gets ballistic missiles and drones, that will pose a grave national security threat not only to Pakistan but also China and the CARs. While trying to counter Mecca Defense Alliance, Irani mullah will be creating much more mess for other regional states too.

What about religious beliefs of people who solemnly believe that God has given some semitic tribe dominion over all others and that only one particular gene pool has sole proprietary rights of kingship.

What can any state/government do about it? It happens all across Asia and is not one religion or sectarian monopoly.

Where should the line be drawn between freedom of expression, freedom of religious practice and state/government oversight?

Don't ask what someone else would do for yet another ones claim!
Is their anything wrong with your gene pool? Why can't you go get'em?
Or, you want the thumb to tilt the scale?
Of course, those who wanted did... irrespective of claim and counter claim... those who yielded cussed the clouds or bad omens... except of qadr.

just like you yearn for fire and brimstone to come right through to back up all that pent up anger to front your cause...
Why don't you root for you?
