Türkiye - Azerbaijan | Strategic Partnership, Regional Alliance, Military Cooperation - News & Updates

It is difficult to see the value of the strategic play that Azerbaijan is making when you consider it is sharing a border with both Russia, and Iran.

You would have thought they would keep their heads, and enjoy the prosperity that they have?

What would the population of Azerbaijan be thinking of his recent moves against Türkiye ?? How has this affected the local calculus ? He seem's very confident in his moves. Yes, he should be green and strange to think that he is thinking of not being green.

His real fear is his own rule. Turkey is a unique danger to it b/c of Turkish soft power capacity as a Turkic state next door, even when it doesn't necessarily want to, Turkey is able to affect things in Azerbaijan, for a soviet era KGB control freak like Aliyev that organic pole existing outside of his own control is offputting.

Also I think he believes Israel is a stronger bet than Turkey, b/c of its influence in Washington.

Israel's power in the USA is decreasing, even Netanyahu admits to that. He has not thought things out if he thinks he can rely on Israel.

The ones enamored with Israeli power and by extension US power, are rarely anything other than Sycophants. The UAE is a prime example of that, now it seems Aliyev wants to try it for himself.

"Ye Alone doth we worship, Ye Alone doth we ask for help". lol

It's still to early to say that IMO. We may enter a phase where public support for the Israeli regime is frowned upon but this doesn’t have to mean anything.

A matter of fact, the Zionists are already preparing for how to ensure support for the Zionist state even if the outlook in the US Public towards Israel is negative. Idk how tenable their strategy is long term, but they definitely have plans.

Currently they are trying to not get the US public to like Israel or to defend Zionism on its own terms, but to create a scenario where the US public hates Arabs and Muslims more than it hates Israel, and then secure support for Israel via an outlook of "necessary evil" where its cooperation and support against a "common enemy", rather than support built on liking Israel.

Not sure how tenable it will be, but lets see.
