A-50-year-old man from Karwar chopped off his index finger on Saturday and offered it to Goddess Kali, praying for the victory of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP in the Lok Sabha elections.

This incident has not only shocked locals, but also BJP leaders, who have appealed to the people not to indulge in such acts.

Arun Vernekar, a resident of Sonarwada in Karwar, who did this act, said, “I prayed to Kali Matha for Modi’s re-election as PM, and as an offering, I offered my index finger to the goddess. Modi is my leader.

He is crack like all others

Dhoklas only support Modi because he lets them commit frauds , scams, evade tax and steal money from the Banks.

But they won't become cannon fodder for supreme leader. They don't join the army or participate in the riots.

Meanwhile other andhbhakts literally worship him. Modi is the most supreme deity. Shiva, Ram, Krishna are lower in hierarchy than Modi.

participate in the riots
Did you forget Gujarat 2002 and other riots?

In 1984 anti-Sikh riots, in a single city of Delhi, 3000 were killed. In 2002 Gujarat riots, the whole state was burning, yet only 2000 were killed. How come? Only Yeddyurappa knows the answer. Say, "Jai Yeddyurappa!"

zingggg... ouch
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, during an assembly session, told one funny anecdote.

Mann stated that 15 days back, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav told him that the Congress has become "updated".

He said Yadav told him that the Congress demanded one seat in Uttar Pradesh.

The Congress named a candidate who was to be fielded from that seat but he had died nine-and a half-years ago, Mann said referring to what Yadav told him.

"This much they are updated," Mann said about the Congress.

Did they (non-adivasi Gujaratis) indulge in looting?

Wonderful
So modi cult is now promoted to a religion 😂

Feels very familiar to religious madmen who lose a limb or a life for believers.

I guess I'm allowed to say **** modi but not others.

Freedom is subjective isn't it?

Political strategist Prashant Kishor said the only way the Congress party can revive from here is for Rahul Gandhi to step back and let someone else take charge.

"This according to me is also anti-democratic," said Kishor told PTI pointing out that Rahul Gandhi has been running the party for the past 10 years unsuccessfully and still he is not willing to step aside to let somebody else steer the Congress party.

"When you are doing the same work for the last 10 years without any success, then there is no harm in taking a break... You should allow someone else to do it for five years. Your mother did it," he said, recalling Sonia Gandhi's decision to keep away from politics following her husband Rajiv Gandhi's assassination and let P V Narasimha Rao take charge in 1991.

A key attribute of good leaders the world over is that they know what they lack and actively look to fill those gaps, he said.

"But it seems to Rahul Gandhi that he knows everything. Nobody can help you if you do not recognise the need for help. He believes he needs someone who can execute what he thinks is right. It is not possible," Kishor said.

Citing Gandhi's decision to resign as the Congress president following the party's drubbing in the 2019 polls, he said the Wayanad MP had then written that he would step back and let somebody else do the job. But, in effect, he has been doing contrary to what he had written, he added.

Parivarwaad is a liability now: Kishor

On BJP's ‘parivarwaad’ (family rule) jibe at Congress, Kishor said, ‘becoming a leader because of one's surname might have been an advantage in the post-independence era but is a liability now.’

"Be it Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav or Tejashwi Yadav. Their respective parties may have accepted them as their leader but people have not. Has Akhilesh Yadav been able to lead Samajwadi Party to victory," he asked.

He, though, added that the BJP has not had to deal with the issue because they have acquired power recently, and the pressure to give positions to family members of its leaders will come now.

New Delhi:
Political strategist Prashant Kishor or PK has suggested that Rahul Gandhi should consider stepping back if the Congress does not get the desired results in the Lok Sabha polls.

In an interaction with PTI editors, he said Mr Gandhi, for all practical purposes, is running his party and has been unable to either step aside or let somebody else steer the Congress despite his inability to deliver in the last 10 years.

"This according to me is also anti-democratic," said Mr Kishor, who had prepared a revival plan for the opposition party but walked out due to the disagreements between him and its leadership over the execution of his strategy.
