Trump says US will stop giving Israel aid after year-end

People conveniently forget that both Israel and the United States are the illegitimate offspring of Great Britain, bound together by an unbreakable, toxic ideology: Anglo-Saxon extremist Zionism. Israel has always played, and continues to play, the role of America’s rabid attack dog in the region.

These two bastard brothers never have been, and never will be, separable. The moment any regional or Arab colony of the US dares to even sniff at independence, the Israeli attack dog is unleashed to bite, perfectly executing the classic good-cop, bad-cop routine.

Trump famously banked on the sheer gullibility of the American public by promising to cut off aid to Israel by the end of the year. How delightfully naive, as if such a decision were ever up to Trump, or any single individual, for that matter. And ironically it didn't work for Trump.

This machine has always operated this way and always will. One bastard supporting an even more rabid bastard is simply in their DNA.

I don't know if those bills are passed or not yet but I absolutely don't see them passing after the new US Congress takes power in January. In one of the last defense related US Senate votes, 87% of the Democratic Senators voted to block help to Israel. That motion was defeated but post January... it will be a different ballgame and you will see that.

If JD Vance actively asks Republicans to vote against 219/224 as part of the "reset of relations to Israel", then there is a chance it could be "stripped" out, otherwise it will pass even with the majority given that there are quite a few AIPAC employees(Senators) in the democratic party as well.

I am not sure what course JD Vance is going to take as long as the Trump is the POTUS and Vance's chances to be the POTUS in 2028 are cooked now. I have no doubt about Vance's antipathy toward Israel but he just doesn't have the authority as long as Trump is the POTUS. I wish Vance, who can't be 'fired' by Trump, takes a bold stand as the VP and do and say what he can and find his place in History.
As to the 219/224 vote, that would fail in the new Congress. But unfortunately we have months to go before the new Congress takes power.
PS. Never underestimate that Trump is personally a Zionist of an extreme kind. Biden was another one but Trump trumped even Biden, pun intended.

Yes - Trump can veto the NDDA 2027 bill if it does not include sections 219/224.

Firstly, as great Chas Freeman said, the 219/224 is not really going to help Israel much. Secondly, if Trump Vetoes, then whatever benefits Israel can derive from the Bill would be permanently not available because I don't see the new American Congress ever agreeing to the provisions for Israel. Look at the Democratic voting records in the US Senate over the last two years: They voted against Israel last as 87%; they lost but now they have the majority in the new Congress.
Israelis will have to come up with new ways using its 'influence' in America.

The more Israel is enabled, the greater the instability and conflict in the region. This results in regression of the US policy goals to see stability in that region so outflow of oil remains uninterrupted.

The US has many lobbies and they work against the national policy all the time. The stated policy is "stability in the ME, a 2 state solution etc.". In reality, with all the lobbying by special interests, these policies take a back seat.

The more the US provides Israel with a "qualitative" edge, the greater the greed in Israel to steal, displace, destroy just because they can with the hardware at their disposal and the US blood and treasure available in case they get in trouble.

It is a really unhealthy relationship only because of the oversized role of the Israeli lobby in the US.
I do believe in two state solution. But USA needs stop supporting Israel.

Of course. When it comes time to reauthorize and fund the NDAA. And, by that time, the vicious cycle begins again.

Don't think for a minutes when it comes close to an election these people wouldn't sell their mothers to remain in office. They will do it in a heartbeat.

Then the rest of the world should stop supporting the Palestinians. Let's be real. The Arab world for the most part isn't rushing troops into Gaza to support the Palestinians, are they?

No, they are not.

Why?

And don't give the usual "Jewish conspiracy blackmailing the Arabs" nonsense. Be intellectually honest for once.

The idea of the US not supporting Israel is not going to happen anytime soon. I don't give a damn which political party occupies the White House. That ship has unfortunately sailed and both sides are afraid of Israel.

Yeah, you got a few like the DSA people calling for an end to support for Israel. But in reality, they can be dealt with.

The reality is the Arab regimes know they can't win; case in point: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Yemen, asking half the Western powers for assistance; rushing to sign as many worthless defense bills.

To take on Israel is a foregone conclusion; the Israeli's as they currently stand and with their established Dahiya Doctrine (among other doctrines), are the preeminent power of the Middle East.

When Netanyahu said the Arab's would remember what was done to them, he wasn't joking, and he went on to engrave it in the Arab psyche.

"What we will do to our enemies... will echo for generations": On 9 October 2023, following the October 7 attacks, Netanyahu.

Look I believe in the two state solution. I never claimed there was a Jewish conspiracy blackmailing the Arab nations.

Do not put words into my mouth which I never said. Quote me where I said such a thing.

@AZ_HighCountry , I wait for your response and to bring evidence that I used the word "Jewish conspiracy" in my posts, which I never did. Do not put words into my mouth which I never did.

I am one of the more fair-minded and reasonable members of this respected forum.

You must be mistaken for another member on this forum.

Even your Joe Biden supported the two state solution.

The only major country against two state solution is the American government.

Otherwise I support the Canadian, UK, France, and Germany stance on the Palestinian conflict.

Two State Solution is fair.

I don't think anyone is disagreeing with you.

The issue is it is currently Israel that is against the creation of a Palestinian state. The reasons why can be researched by the average person.

President Trump has unfortunately waffled on the idea of a 2-state solution.

It's anyone's guess as to why.

You seem like a reasonable person.
Personally I think two state solution is the answer to the problem.

I call bullshit.

The money is going to keep flowing in one way or another, either privately or through the Pentagon budget or some other forms. Just like how AIPAC is planning to go underground, they are all going to maintain the Israeli ties covertly since Israel is so widely hated now.

Trump is a constant and habitual liar. You literally can't believe a single word out of his bastard pedo mouth.

You know that I am 30+ years your senior and have been around the block a few times. Two state solutions have been proposed numerous times over the years. The biggest hangups is with Israel and the idea of returning to the 1967 borders as well as Jerusalem.

Thirty years from now, I will likely be gone, you will be close to my current age. Don't be surprised if this thing is still going then.
