Egypt manufactures a heavy drone with a capacity of 3 tons of weapons
ICER, a company specializing in the manufacture of various drones, has other drone projects. The company revealed three drones at the recent IDEX exhibition in Cairo, the June 30 plane, the Taiba-30 plane, and the target plane for air defense training.
The company has another project, a heavy drone with a terrifying load of weapons
The aircraft is a very heavy drone, with a wingspan of 26 meters, a length of 18 meters and a height of 4.9 meters. Its empty weight is 3.5 tons and its maximum take-off weight is 10 tons, while its load of weapons and fuel reaches 6.5 tons. It is equipped with two jet engines and flies at a maximum speed of up to 750 km per hour. (Mach 0.6), and its lowest speed is 100 km per hour. It flies at a very high altitude, reaching 15.2 km from the surface of the earth. It can remain in the air for 40 hours continuously.
Armament:
The plane has 18 suspension points that can carry up to 3 tons of weapons, divided into the following
- 4 points on which 1200 kg can be loaded, with a load of 300 kg per point
- 4 points on which 800 kg can be loaded, with a load of 200 kg per point
- 10 points on which 1000 kg can be loaded, with a load of 100 kg per point
It can carry 4 THUNDER precision-guided munitions (PGMs) family, which is a tactical missile guided by satellite navigation, and an additional seeker, whether thermal, laser, or television. It carries a warhead, which is a MARK bomb weighing up to 130 kg, and a range of 240 km.
It also carries NAMROD guided munitions., which are air-to-surface missiles .. There are several versions of them with different weights, such as 40 kg, 150 kg, and 300 kg.
It is capable of carrying several other types of armament upon request..
It is equipped with a Communications, navigation and surveillance. Satellite communications (SATCOM) system through which the aircraft can be controlled and reached over very long ranges.. An optical detection and guidance system and an autopilot system through which the aircraft can be programmed without the need for human control to operate silently..Terrain avoidance system, SAR radar for high-resolution 3D ground mapping, etc..
It is based on the Global Yabhon

The Egyptian company ICER is the ex ADCOM Systems ..Indeed, the owner of the company is an Emirati businessman and was a pioneer in the Emirates and transferred the designs to Egypt..
- The drone is a design that can be built upon and strengthened, whether with additional special materials on the wings or the body of the aircraft
- The engine and Avionics are changed
- You get a design and build on it.. And develop it
This is an achievement by research and development centers at the cheapest prices, with the least effort, and with local technology, the details of which the enemy does not know..
We know the extent of the confidentiality of information about these aircraft and the extent of the restrictions imposed on Egypt to prevent it from accessing or approaching these technologies..
- Research and Development is working on new versions
Control stations included..
The Yabhon family of unmanned air systems also includes Yabhon-R MALE, -R2 MALE, -RX, -H, -Smart Eye1, –
United 40 (Smart Eye 2) MALE, and -United 40 block 5 MALE.
Yabhon Smart Eye is a medium altitude long endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) designed and manufactured by ADCOM Systems, a company based in the UAE.
The UAV is designed to conduct strategic and tactical operations, and is suitable for a variety of missions, including near real-time (NRT) combat assessment, battle damage assessment (BDA), border surveillance, reconnaissance, intelligence preparation of the battlefield, humanitarian aid, communications relay, and other special operations. It can also be used for protecting critical national infrastructure.
An advanced ADCOM-3D flight control unit (FCU) is incorporated to facilitate autonomous operation by providing independent inertial measurement unit (IMU) and global positioning system (GPS) navigation services for the UAV. The FCU is capable of controlling up to 16 different payload systems. The UAV is capable of generating mission plan prior to flight. It also supports online mission profile update and recording.
The Yabhon Smart Eye MALE UAV can carry two gyro-stabilised payload platforms, synthetic aperture radar, and sonar terrain avoidance system. It can also carry up to four pods of 100kg capacity each under the wings.
The payload system includes two gimballed camera platforms, infrared (IR) sensor, thermal imager, and electro-optical (EO) sensors to capture high resolution imagery and video in real time during day and night operations. A Laser Designator and Range Finder (LDRF) is also installed to measure distances and designate targets.
The
UAV can be optionally equipped with a variety of payload sensors and signals intelligence systems to meet the varying mission requirements.
The Yabhon Smart Eye unmanned air system is driven by a primary pusher-propeller engine, which is available in output power ratings of 80hp / 100hp / 115hp. The main engine is complemented by an auxiliary engine for improving the UAV’s performance.
The drone has a stall speed of 55km/h and a maximum speed of 222km/h. It can cruise at a speed ranging from 65km/h to 130km/h, and has an unrefueled endurance of 120 hours. It can operate at a maximum altitude of 7,300m.
