Pakistan Missiles - Updates, News & Discussion

😂😂😂😂 That's why we have M.A.D you dummy

But Pakistan hasn't built up a massive nuclear arsenal for nothing, Pakistani missiles are varied, and our options to confuse, overwhelm or penetrate any Indian BMD are multiple

We only have a few issues to resolve with India
The freedom and Independence of a Muslim Kashmir and the defence of hundreds of millions of Indian Muslims from Hindu extremist slime

It is finger-licking good. I am glad that Pakistani engineers have invested in so many options. So many different types of missiles. The only one that I am waiting for is the hypersonic kind. I am convinced that Pakistan will develop a genuine hypersonic missile.

Knowledge on what is otherwise decades old tech, but relatively new in our region, is already being published in international journals by the Indians themselves.

Considering how quickly North Korea advanced its missile program on a shoestring budget, it not unlikely Pakistan will have to do the same as well, to get a similar regionally focused capability (missiles within a 2500 km range)

Pakistan R&D is a mix of competence making strides and Fake it till you make it.
What they excel is in obfuscation in the two so until push comes to shove you never really know

Can a "PSAC" system be compared to an actual MaRV?

Why have we never seen a Pakistani warhead like this which every nuclear state has? (Indian and American examples below)

Can any knowledgeable member please provide input on this? Do we possess truly maneuverable warheads (MaRV)?

this PSAC system just seems to be for minor corrections rather than full on evasive maneuvers to reliably penetrate AD.

PSAC is far superior to moving winglet which can only maneuver within atmosphere.

Shaeen 2 and 3 cananeuver outside atmosphere as well

Below is shaheen 1, you can also search for ghaznavi abdali and even masr the older and less advanced systems to see moving winglet arrangements for within atmosphere maneuvering

Pakistan shud be adding decoys, stealth base bleed and also test hypersonic glide vehicle (p282) in futire

I would rate Pakistani missile technology at about the same level as Iran, if not a touch lower.

A state which is nuclear power since early 1980s, a declared nuclear power since 1998, which relies on its missile force for its nuclear deterrence (land, air and sea), will have a lesser missile tech then Iran? We have operations MIRVs as we speak. We tested atmospheric detonation of warhead (ofcourse without nuke) of shaheen missile way back in Musharraf time, guy left the office in 2007, died last year. so on and so forth......

Either you are taking piss or just misinformed.

Shaheen-III has PSAC (warhead maneuvers at mach 18+ in the final stage).
Can u kindly elaborate further on this.
What kind of maneuvers, Zig zag maneuvers in the last stage or in the terminal stage for course correction.
There is literally nothing regarding SMs.

Now with the recent events, Pakistanis now know that Shaheen 3 won't do anything even if fired in 100s. Pakistani’s are literally crying in corner looking at interception rates against MRBM and cruise missile classes. Even so called "second strike" ability of Pakistan depends on cruise missiles. Plus think about the disproportionate response you guys will receive from the other end and how you'll protect your major population centres from this onslaught since you guys don't have a functional BMD system yet. BMD isn't fancy, it's a necessity, saves lives.

45 nukes can wipe every major Indian city off the face of the earth, taking into account multiple strikes for Delhi, Mumbai and Calcutta.

The upper estimate of Pakistan's arsenal is around 280.

I would agree with that, 170 nuclear war heads maybe 10 years ago, but I would say they have continued to expand the nuclear arsenal with more smaller warheads for sub launched cruise missiles etc

We really don't need that many nukes tbh. What we badly need is the delivery system of said nukes to be top notch...I.e. accuracy, maneuverability, and the ability of our missiles to evade AD systems. We need to focus on this on an urgent basis. Iran/Israel showdown needs to be studied by our strategic planners and improvements made where necessary. Whilst airforce plays an important part in defending our airspace, we ought to focus on our missiles to be able to deliver "gifts" to our adversaries. And those saying India is our only enemy are clearly mistaken. We need to focus beyond our neighbours, Israel must be checkmated under all circumstances! Once these trouble makers are done with Iran (I hope not), they'll come for Pakistan one day and we need to prepare for that day. MAKE NO MISTAKE.

I wholeheartedly agree! Although I'd say that we still have some time and I really hope our Military pull its backside out of bloody DHAs and focus on our missiles.

No, I am not taking the piss. I have been following Pakistan’s nuclear and missile program since high school. I am almost 40 now. Have read many great Pakistani thinkers from Mansoor Ahmed, Feroz Khan etc. So many assessment are logical. You can disagree with them but they are not misinformed.

The Ghauri missiles trace their ancestry to Nodongs of North Korea which ultimately are derived from the Soviet Scuds. The same with the Iranian liquid fueled missiles. In fact, the Ghauri & Shahab series are close cousins.

Pakistan’s Shaheen missiles are derived from the Chinese M-11 aka Dong-Feng 11. A similar case can be made for the Iranian solid fueled missiles.

Both countries use Chinese and North Korean missiles with local modifications.

There’s almost no serious research on missiles in Pakistan that’s taking place. India by contrast through both its missile establishments and ISRO carry out rocket engine design breakthroughs on regular basis.

Sorry to say, but Pakistan is not in the same league.
