Pakistan Missiles - Updates, News & Discussion

All Pakistani nuclear missiles can be fitted with conventional warheads

Exclusively conventional Pakistani missiles include:

BMs: Fatah, CM-400AKG, Smash (?)

CMs: Harbah, Timur, CM-802AKG, YJ-12, Harpoon

I agree with 45 nukes being enough to wipe out every major Indian city. If you are looking for total annihilation of India you would be looking at 70 nukes, I guess.

"The upper estimate of Pakistan's arsenal is around 280." Probably is true, but do you have a source for that.

On such premises, Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal in 2020 would consist of between 243 and 283 nuclear devices. If it is assumed that Pakistan can annually produce 130 kilograms of HEU and 45 kilograms of WGPu consistently for another ten years, its nuclear arsenal in 2030 would consist of 383–423 weapons; if it is assumed that Pakistan is instead annually producing 40 kilograms of WGPu over this period, as it has perhaps done in more recent years, its nuclear arsenal in 2030 would consist of 375–415 weapons.

Thanks. This means that before 2030 Pakistan would become the world's 4th largest nuclear power only behind US, China and Russia.

Smaller diameter have always been there even before,
Those are old motors and give the range atmost about 200km only.
Now it looks like they really went back to drawing board and developed better motors.
Still there is room for improvement.
Strategic needs are almost met with Ababeel.we need highly efficient tactical Ballistic Missiles .

US PrSM is 420mm in diameter but only 4m long still its range is 100km more than that of F-2 ( 400mm dia & 7.5m long)

We still need more work on Lot of things for tactical Ballistic Missiles.

Pakistan needs to increase range of missiles. Fix the economy, after that focus on MIRV ICBM's.

Yes, definitely there is improvement. For example, S-1A is more than 50% longer range than the first S-1.

Current range already covers our primary adversary already and anyone we are likely to fire on. Priority here should not be range first but reliability of evading dense AD.

Good discussions, and I hope contrarians like me @RationalPakistani are wrong and that Pakistan’s missile technology is sufficient to defeat BDMs. As someone has said, Pakistan’s missile program is highly secretive despite high profile leaks to other foreign agencies by senior officials. We can only make assumptions based on open source information.

But to claim either @RationalPakistani or I are simply undercover Indians looking to belittle Pakistan or bait Pakistanis is both hilarious and unfortunate. Have been on PDF & other forums for many many years and members who know, know who I am. This is just a silly claim and I hope people learn to take criticism without going full on paranoid mode.
I was of same opinion as urs but looked some stuff on the old pdf and found nearly all answers, if we can have combination of PSAC and Terminal guidance (basically MARV) in 2015, i am sure many more countermeasures would have been added up till now, watch the below video, it has every detail, for which this thread was basically started!!

Take for example arrow 3 could not deal with Khybar shekan and Rmad missiles with Simple MARV.
Whilst on the other hand pakistani missiles have PSAC which can maneuver the missile outside the atmosphere and then an Terminal guided RV which perform maneuvers terminally, its an potent missile for systems like Arrow 3 and overkill for that pathetic indian BMD.
i would recommend u watching interview of Dr. Samar on it ur questions will be answered!!

Is there any evidence that Iranian missiles don't have a PSAC? I just want to be certain of these claims

@Mehdipersian I forgot the Iranian mods name so I will just tag this person

Both Fattah 1 and kheybar have Post-Separation Attitude Correction.(Inside and outside the atmosphere). We also have many missiles that only perform target correction only inside the atmosphere.

The guidance method of these two missiles is shown in the following videos:

Iranian missiles are described to have CEP 1m
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.
Multiply it by 10.
As per publicaly available info

PSAC provides the ability to adjust the warhead trajectory for enhanced accuracy and conduct evading maneuvers against anti-ballistic missile defence systems.

It is believe S-I Alpha also have this capability so in short from S-I till S-III all of Shaheen series have PSAC
It also provides the ability to:
Achieve very high terminal velocities. As in multiple mach rather than the sub-sonic.
And helps with hitting targets which are difficult to engage with truly ballistic weapons (like stuff buried half way deep in a mountain).
