I wonder till when Army institution will continue holding the extreme burden of Asim. The kind of hatred he has attracted for entire army is mind blowing. He must go for Pakistan and Pakistan Army's sake.

I fear Asim will burn the country down by his slow poison attempt at nation's most beloved leader. He will go at every length to save his own skin. He is frightened if ever IK is able to come back then IK will avenge everything which this guy has done. From abductions, tortures, murder of citizens to mandate robbery and trampling constitution when he didn't let elections to be held for so long. Now judiciary is gradually taking a stand that enough is enough, Asim fears that any hope or any way out of IK is a death sentence for himself. This evil will not let it happen.

Looks like Army has decided that either their chief or, Imran will survive. They obviously have made their preference clear. Only option for them is to remove Imran without raising hackles. They seem to have DC's blessings. Not so clear about Beijing and Riyadh.
