They never used to receive them despite agreements, but for a past few decades have been receiving certain amount, I didn't check exactly how much and no point, because we all know they're not as same as other provinces.
That's not good then, signing agreements and then backtracking, this is what causes all the hatred and division in Pakistan, who is to blame except the corrupt rulers.
Bro they probably still get it free or don't pay bills, these things are not documented.
Nope if they had competitive energy pricing our industry wouldn't be where it's at
I have family in industry and that's literally the biggest complain of most SME, Industry people
Electricity, Gas pricing, shortages
Give SME, Industrialists cheap energy than we'll finally get our exports going
Everyone should be paying their bills, that I agree with, my family pays for it, the local dacoits may get away with it.
Most people outside of Urban areas are not paying their bills
Not just decoit, average folks
But do they get paid for it?,
They used to and are supposed to by law
But federal gov has no money left in it's Treasury after loans and defense budget to give royalties
Our Public development funding is getting slashed
We're not living in normal times
Like asking your broke father for paying for your house chores
Balochistan and Kpk are not happy and are protesting.
Pakistan should be building large and small dams,
They're
should have done this before the electricity crises,
No one was funding dam projects before China
get rid of massive oil/gas Imports for electricity and the expensive IPPs.
It'll come down eventually but yeah not in the next 5 years
Till than gov needs to iron out the inefficiencies
Who the heck signed these agreements in the first place?
Benazir and NS because of course kickbacks but at the time because of accute energy crisis you had no other options besides maybe coal imported IPP
They should have known we will suffer in the future.
Rupee-dollar rate, coal prices, RLNG cost major factors that determine capacity payments

The government has admitted that the contracts made with Independent Power Producers (IPPs) are a heavy burden on the national exchequer.
