Can anyone do a break-down and comparison between these two gunships - how much better are the Z-10s and will Cobras be enough?

Said this for a while ever since the US left. Many people who were worked with them simply grew beards and became the 'Taliban'. There are numerous rouge elements who do what they like and there are ones who hate Pakistan.

Many ex Afghan National Army personnel joined Taliban right, the mass surrenders was a significant reason why Taliban 2021 offensive was so successful. And possible explanation for why pictures emerged of many Taliban with such commendable trigger discipline unless I am mistaken.

Now, will these elements be left to simmer amongst the rest or will leverage be built through soft power to extinguish the antagonistic quarters rather than the ignorant “Afghans will always be Afghans” sadly infesting the forum.

You say "The Pakistani attack didn't go down well with the Taliban". Shouldn't you rephrase that to "Taliban suicide attack killings Pakistani civilians mostly Pashtuns doesn't go down well with Pakistani military"? But your tone empowers Taliban, you may not think it, but it's how it comes across. Maybe you prefer to give terrorists underdog status?

Cobra is a single engine light helicopter from the 60s designed to fight Vietcong guerillas in Vietnam. Not really built to fight enemy armor, so it’s decent enough to fight miscreants on the western front.

The Z-10ME is a modern anti-tank and scouting platform with survivability features to hold its own against modern threats. I think it can also operate at a higher altitude with its two engines.

The cobras are also very old and basically having one last deployment before retirement.

Exactly - both countries have a lot of common interests. Yes, small border skirmishes and disputes can happen due to many factors. However, this doesn't change the fact that Pakistani twitter fanboys (probably sponsored by the establishment) are exaggerating the situation to move away the attention from internal issues.

There are many places in the border were both Pakistan and Afghanistan dispute each other i.e. having positions in the other country's territory. You get these issues with poorly marked and mountainous borders. Also, unfair to claim that all border disputes are started by the Afghan side.

Regarding TTP movement, hard to control. Even Pakistan cannot restrict their movement and operations inside your own territory. Many of them have families on the Afghan side i.e. a support base. They can move across the border due to the nature of the border. Impossible for either side to control and restrict all movements.

5 days of fighting now. This voice is of that Khurusani Taliban guy who recorded the video of claiming to wipe out Pakistan. He's apparently in Paktika province with his fighters.
