For every armour invented, there has been invented a penetrator.
For every penetrator, there has been invented an armour.
And so it goes till 1 of the 2 combatants can no longer conduct combat. The end of this war is closer than it was a year ago, but it is still not
close to ending this year. The march to victory continues on both sides.

These numbers are mostly plucked out of thin air remember alot of these tanks have been recovered and repaired, which probably means there is a lot less total write offs.

If russian tank with ammo explodes, I double, the tank can be repaired or recovered. Very doubtful too, if any body parts of tank crew remain.

Abrams, invincible.. only in video-games..or against flip flops insurgents. Ukraine has been forced to withdraw its Abrams from frontline, as losses mount 😉 goes both ways.

Only 10 Abrams losses, and 31 supplied. Ukraine doesn’t have enough of them and they aren’t designed for defensive operations.

Meanwhile Russia has lost over 3,100 tanks and having to bring T-62s to the front.

There’s a big difference between Ukraine operating 31 Abrams stripped of there DU armor versus the US Army operating 2,000 Abrams of the latest variants with DU armor. All backed with several thousand Bradley’s and air power.
 
First of all any tank can be knocked out secondly tanks are an offensive weapons that. The war now is at a critical point so any tank hanging around the front is going to get picked off eventually.

The problem is with Western tanks none of them have been really truly tested in the theatre of war until now. And now we are seeing their startling vulnerabilities.

Even the Iraqis managed some Abrams kills. Abrams has proven itself in past wars. And don’t mistake minimal Abrams operations in Ukraine for how the US Army would perform with thousands of Abrams and Bradley’s with air support.

The fact the Russians have struggled so much against a few dozen Soviet era fighters Ukraine operates is still amazing to me.

You can imagine how it would go against the US Air Force and Navy.
