UN partition plan for Israel and Palestine in 1947

United Nations Resolution 181, resolution passed by the United Nations (UN) General Assembly in 1947 that called for the partition of Palestine into Arab and Jewish states, with the city of Jerusalem as a corpus separatum (Latin: “separate entity”) to be governed by a special international regime. The resolution—which was considered by the Jewish community in Palestine to be a legal basis for the establishment of Israel, and which was rejected by the Arab community—was succeeded almost immediately by violence.

Palestine had been governed by Great Britain since 1922. Since that time, Jewish immigration to the region had increased, and tensions between Arabs and Jews had grown. In April 1947, exhausted by World War II and increasingly intent upon withdrawing from the Middle East region, Britain referred the issue of Palestine to the UN. To investigate a suitable course of action, the UN formed the UN Special Committee on Palestine (UNSCOP), an inquiry committee made up of members from 11 countries. Ultimately, UNSCOP delivered two proposals: that of the majority, which recommended two separate states joined economically, and that of the minority, which supported the formation of a single binational state made up of autonomous Jewish and Palestinian areas. The Jewish community approved of the first of these proposals, while the Arabs opposed them both. A counterproposal—including a provision that only those Jews who had arrived before the Balfour Declaration (and their descendents) would be citizens of the state—did not win Jewish favour.

The proposal to partition Palestine, based on a modified version of the UNSCOP majority report, was put to a General Assembly vote on November 29, 1947. The fate of the proposal was initially uncertain, but, after a period of intense lobbying by pro-Jewish groups and individuals, the resolution was passed with 33 votes in favour, 13 against, and 10 abstentions.

They are NOT from Palestine, they are foreign invaders

They are absolutely hated and despised in the region, and after this evil massacre they have committed they absolutely cannot remain in the middle east

The minimum they can expect is maybe the U.S giving aid to pay them for the land they are leaving but they will be better off in Europe or America

Being hated and despised are irrelevant, and they are willing to pay the price so they think they are better there, because it is their sanctuary.

Many nations from Turkey, South Africa, New Zealand, Russia, China, Japan, UK, Argentina, Brazil,US, Australia, Canada, Indonesia, Israel including Palestine could be considered invaders too as their ancestors were not originated from the land.

This sort of evil cannot be tolerated

The Jews are losing the demographic battle, the Palestinians are overtaking them and are a much younger population, after this massacre Israel is a international pariah with multiple international organisations coming after them for war crimes

All Jews are doing at the moment is sealing their own fate

Quit being immature. I'm referring to the pro-Israel side which claims everyone is out for the Jews. Despite Arab Peace initiative offering Israel a deal of the century, quite literally. All it has to do is agree to it.
I'm immature? You keep putting me on the pro-Israel side months now and you're saying I'm immature?

Anyway, what's the deal of the century?

I agree with the partition plan 1947. Only the problem now is the demographic has changed after the Arab-Israel war in 1948 and the many wars and developments afterward.

We have the newer one which is OSLO accord that both sides need to follow and comply.
Yes, many other developments since then, especially Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

Zionists had better get smart, and fast, accept UN Resolution 181, like they did before.

And the Palestinians too.

First thing I see favoring the Palestinians under this plan is control of the water supply to Tel Aviv.

they absolutely cannot remain in the middle east

So let's see. Over 7 million Jews in Israel, just the cost of the transportation will be over $15 billion. Resettlement costs are on top of that. (For comparison, there are 2 million Palestinians in Gaza and about 3 million in the West Bank.) To transport 7 million people in one year will take nearly 19,000 evacuations per day, or about 800 an hour, around the clock, non stop.

Removing any side to this conflict is not realistically possible, based just on the logistics. There has to be an accommodation by both sides to agree to live with each side by side in peace.

After all, no one people has an eternal right to a land, just look at all of human history.

If you commit not to destroy Israel and steal their land then I believe Israel will return the land that they really stollen from you.
They won't. Not now. At least not with this government. Maybe with a more moderate and peace-loving PM

There is no more opportunities regarding opinions on the Palestinian Genocide. You are either on the side of Good (Palestinians) or Evil (Zionism). Period.
So basically you are George W. Bush and you're saying "Whoever is not with us is against us".

It's inevitable, , one way or the other the Jews will gradually leave the middle east, it's just impossible to remain in a region where they are detested

Of course, if that happens by gradual changes and the natural inclination of people to seek better lives elsewhere, it is a viable strategy. But please note that applies to either side, equally.

The Zionists will gradually leave under UN Resolution 181.

With control of the water supply the Palestinians can control Israel's economy and population.

Looking at the map, the Jews can still drive 20 minutes every Saturday to wail at their wall, if they behave.

It can serve as a reminder where Zionism got them.

NEW: After threats by the leader of Hezbollah to strike Cyprus, the Cypriot government is now complaining and claiming that they are not involved in the conflict

Cypriot government spokesperson: "Cyprus is not involved and will not participate in any war conflicts. The relations of the Republic of Cyprus with Lebanon are excellent and all negotiations will take place at the diplomatic level. No country will be granted permission to conduct military operations through Cyprus."

That is a lie of course. Flight Radar says otherwise. Cyprus has been used recently for massive UK Cargo ships Delivery to Israel and Drone Renaissance Missions over Gaza. The planes that hunted the Iranian missiles and drones that were fired at Israel also took off from their bases. The US and Britain are now preparing these airfields for Israel to use in case Hezbollah destroys the Israeli ones.

Err that is totally possible.

Get 50 A350s on the job.

Each one can accomodate 400 people and with just a single trip per day per plane we are talking about 20,000 settlers evacuated per day.

Of course some 500,000 Jews have always lived in Palestine at least as long as the Palestinians and so we need to remove 6.5 million.

We can also use cruise ships to transport 5000 settlers out at a time.

They can all be shipped out in 6-9 months easy but we can make it 2 years to allow enough time to do it in an organised manner.:)
