Even on the SINA FAC, they could replace the canon with a navalized Majid Sam. If they can fit Majid on a pickup, they most certainly can fit it on the Sina ship. Shame they haven't made a navalized Majid, would be better than all these older AAA canon guns they keep putting.Iranian and Russian naval units during IMEX-2024

it is not a Bofors 40 mm, but Oerlikon GDM-A naval turret with two 35mmThey need to get rid of the Bofors 40 mm canon in the rear of the ship and replace it with Navab SAM or some navalized Majid 08. I think Navab would fit there.

certainly against air and naval drones together with 12.7mm- 14.5mm-20mm weapons and also as a last defense against subsonic anti-ship missilesWhat’s the relevance of such turrets in 2024 and beyond?
…and simple surface vessels. You shouldn’t be able to simply row up to the ship.certainly against air and naval drones together with 12.7mm- 14.5mm-20mm weapons and also as a last defense against subsonic anti-ship missiles
I still think navalized Majid would be better. Maybe a navalized majid with Zu23 turret. would all still fit fine. If that GDF was more like a CIWS with better tech but doubt they upgraded it to really fit an optimal CIWS role.certainly against air and naval drones together with 12.7mm- 14.5mm-20mm weapons and also as a last defense against subsonic anti-ship missiles
Seems to be a Falcon 9, Ex version. Falcon 50 has two engines. And the radome under it seems to be a radar more than a ECM equipment. ECM have long antennas and require a lot of electric energy, for that reason EF18 growlers have large pods with a small electric generator in front. The IRIAF Falcon-50 EP-TFA seen in the video has been flying in this configuration for several years, here in the photo it is November 2020
