Thanks for that.
I watched the original clip as well as read the summary, yes, they signed some kind of agreement with regards to an advanced fighter jet, and he'll try his best to push forward with it, so a bit more complicated than a simple order, guess that could explain why there hasn't been any official announcements.

Yes, it has been suspected for a while by some Chinese bloggers and PLA watchers that the PLAAF may have stopped procuring J-10C, and it will only be manufactured for exports now.
Actually, the J-35A is the PLAAF designation, and it was announced by the PLAAF just before the Zhuhai Airshow as one of the Air Force’s equipments that they will be showing at the show this year, intended procurement numbers is not something the PLA announces as per usual.

Not yet..he also said that the deal is handled by the Chinese armed forces and the Egyptian armed forces..
There must be some modifications of the specs to fit Egypt'..and also talk about the manufacture of some ammunition..The deal as such was signed..now the details phase..

You’d need American approval to install Turkish components in f16s since they are American model aircrafts. They could kill switch the whole fleet if Egypt disobeys them and proceeds in protest. I see no reason to upgrade too many of them since china is pushing heavy for us to get mor j10s and eventually the j31/35

The corrupt regime is the one that is destroying it with claims of non-existent national honor. Anyone who objects to this corruption is considered a traitor.
Regarding cooperation with the Turks, I have previously explained that they must offer something distinctive, good and competitive to accept any cooperation with them. On the subject of the Americans, I have explained that they are ignored, not only Egypt but the whole world. For four years, African countries have refused when they put forward projects for French and European bids because of their plundering of the wealth of their peoples and their corruption in implementing infrastructure projects. The American conditions may not apply to the old contracts for F-16 fighters because the Americans in the nineties and until 2005 did not expect the technical development of the Chinese, Russians, and even the Koreans and Turks, so their restrictions on contracts were less than the new contracts. Because of the American conditions, Egypt does not implement any contracts with the Americans because they are rejected. The Rafale and MiG-29 contracts are all flexible in armament. It led to duplication of contracts, otherwise the purchases are rejected. Why did you buy an American weapon that is restricted in use, development and equipment?
