International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS)

BTW @Quwa this is a mockup only - not a flight worthy aircraft. I don't believe the first flight has even happened. A tell tale sign that this is a mockup is the absence of an air data boom. This is something seen on Shahpar II (and all non stealth aircraft in some shape or form):

I was wrong - there is a pitot-tube on the bottom. However, I maintain that no flight has happened based on other reasons.

I think many lessons can be learnt from Ukraine but not all. It is essentially trench warfare and missile now. Pak v India will be fast moving with mass armour. Ukraine (even with western tanks) cannot compete here, hence why a big stalemate.

Rus-Ukr war was also "fast moving" maneuver warfare in the first few months until the Istanbul deal broke down & ukr decided to fight it out. Then the Russians decided to dig in & grind ukr into submission.

You may think that fear of MAD will prevent any long indopak war but reality is there is no guarantee.

That being said, yes tank on tank battles are rare over there as well. It's mainly an artillery duel.

PFX = J-35s assembled by PAC?

Where do you see something that is at least similar to a J-35A?

In fact it is indeed interesting - if it refers to that yellow something - since it would be for the first time a more radically different design evolved from a regular JF-17:

Yeah, and Pak has a long history of just license building Chinese stuff, adding a few Pak tweaks and slapping a Pakistani name on it. No harm in that, we do not need to reinvent the wheel here....

But I see nothing that looks like a J-35?!!
