I think we are giving them too much credit. Our awam eats up anything and LEF looks like a cool acronym. Some guy was just asked to make some slides and he made some slides. That's it.

Part of it - but it was never a clean cut - bits and pieces would still come from China.

Buddy, I just watched a video calling an armored vehicle launch bridge, a runway. So yeah.

To me it is realization of existing big industrial base in the country hence an attempt to fill that. How well it will turn, only time will tell. Nevertheless, way more realistic project than Azm nonsense!

PFX progression as per slide presented during the seminar where head of NATSP gave presentation. ADIC is responsible for the project which is under NATSP but unlike other 5 chapter of NATSP, it is headed by CO who directly reports to CAS. No technical details were given.

Here is what I think:

- Block-3P is the upgrade slide shown that I posted. (Some upgrades to Block 3 done locally with some local systems including Radar, ECM, etc.)
- Alpha is complete indigenized JF
- PFX is either a heavily modified 4.5 plus JF or a completely new aircraft (a rebranding of Azm NGF)
