Military establishment knows everything and is running the show from behind.
That **** Naqvi is their guy, the same guy who was threatening to mow down protestors with bullets and now you have 1 dead and multiple injured. I don't think Army wants to relinquish peacefully and we might end up seeing bloodshed. If not now, then down the line. But you dont get away with brazen murders.

What's confusing is Imran Khan even during darna days used to claim he will jail Zardari and Nawaz, he talked about reforms, fighting against corruption, independent foreign policy. What's confusing is Imran Khan even during darna days used to claim he will jail Zardari and Nawaz, he talked about reforms, fighting against corruption, independent foreign policy. Where were these high IQ people then. It seems like the new Leadership came and decided ok let's go backwards to 1990s and caused all this instability. Not great planners. You might be right but still, PTI WON BY OVERWHELMING MAJORITY in last general elections.

First step of being a functional state is to recognize the public mandate. Neither current govt nor the military establishment respects the public mandate so they just are breeding extreme hate for themselves.

It's against the constitution and law aswell. The people must be given their mandate. Lastly according to the constitution the dacoits, mafias, corrupt, smugglers are not allowed in the parliament, otherwise the parliament is illegitimate. I agree it's doesn't look good for the army, instead it shows how weak they are. We all know at one time they too wanted reforms and new ideas but after IK removal took a U turn but at this level it's not a joke, your playing with the emotions and destroying hopes of the youth, they want a decent life and education, they want justice and rule of law, it's the job of the state to provide this. We are lucky our 250m people are not all crazy otherwise it would be guaranteed Syria, Yemen or Libya, and before someone says impossible they should know it already happened before.

I would suggest establishment to come on TV and share with the people what they want, what is the redline etc and what do they want from foreign policy etc so this mess can be resolved, they can also hold all party conference and share ideas with political leadership and move forward. I am sick of this toxic politics, and this is not new, Pakistan always had these issues, from Liaqat Ali Khan, Sikandar Mirza, Ayub Khan, Fatima, Mujib, Bhutto, Benazir, Nawaz, Imran Khan, religious politics, military rules. Our elders also faced these issues and spent their youth reading and debating about this. It's like history repeats after a few decades.
