Official objective according to spokesman of the coalition is to move away SAA forces and others from populated areas of Idlib and allow for return of refugees.

Essentially negotiating for better conditions to the current ceasefire. And preventing a offensive on Idlib.

I don't know if the SAA/allies were actually prepping for a offensive on Idlib as I wasn't following this conflict.

Both Sunni and Shia scholars agree on this fact that end times will end with appearance of one of prophet's descendants. And it has not happened yet.
