The belief that Iran could be balkanised is so unrealistic as to be laughable. It was a unified nation aeons ago. Those kinds of bonds don’t break.

In geopolitics the war may be the same but battle lines can change. I believe that the a parallel long term battle waged by the West will be fought without military weapons. Regime change through an internal revolution.
