there is no such thig as geopolitical levrage ........ the only leavrage there is money and commercial long , medium and short term interests of two parties

India has that leavrage with Russia and france for long and USA & UK or Sweden knows it and wants that market hence all this SHOR SHARABBA about falling numbers of IAF in media when a single fighter tday dose job of three fighters it used to do in 1960s and with smart munations and ultra leathel air to air & high precission stand off missiles instead of gun baed dog fights & dive bombings they need even less fighters

No IAF Rafale follow on order on the books at all, not even being mentioned by the IAF CAS anymore. If they even managed to sign something in the next two years (big IF!) they will be delivered by 2032 at the very earliest.

Regardless of opinions of Pak fan club or other posters the Rafale is the best choice right now for the navy
There is commonality with existing Rafales of the air force less stringent controls protocols that USA Carrys and far better than Russian origin carrier fighters both flankers and migs

Getting money out of India govt is like blood from a stone ...They are penny pinching Dhoti cha walas with a very relaxed attitude ...it stinks

well we are here for time pass only

but for many like you its a obsession

India has many things going for it and buying out few fighter jets is no big deal ... its just not the right time or say not on top of owr priority list ... as there are many other ways to keep a more powerfull and always agressive enemy like China in check ..... as for Pakistan well we are already in process of giving its priscription and its working better than we expected
