Your “Pak” friend seems to be very knowledgeable. It’s not Nazaz Sharif by any chance? My Pak friend told me something similar about the deals with Russia and Israel. Like you said it's very deep.

What do you want china to do in this case? Iran and Russia lost so much money and men to prop up a guy whose army didn't put up a fight.China is now in a financial war, a trade war and technology war with the United States, and has no other energy to interfere in Middle East affairs. Name me a single global South country that can help china in a technological war with the West? Answer is none. It's better for china to put it's resources where it matters for china own survival. All the weapons in the hand of Assad would be destroyed by Israel anyway.Syria was very important to Iran and Russia
It's not that complicated, if you want a BRICS type multipolar grouping then the major countries must feel it's worth it strategically, especially if they are expending resources, people etc to resist
Russia and Iran have done this and in coordination
But for how long?
If big boss china will forever be passive and inward looking why can't the others?
They will then in return for respite be asked to be not pro china let's say, I mean that's logical, Pakistan looks like it's already doing this with cpec
I am just posing a possibility here, that's it
That's why this becomes a blow for those who had big ambitions for brics, back to a talking shop
Turkey has directly attacked Syria
Yeah, leave the malaka on his own.
This time i'm very hopeful for the region. Erdogan is not acting mighty. Treating Syria as equals and it's very promising.
10-15 years ago, you might remember. He was acting like Khalifa and meddled in to Arab affairs. He tried to act like a big brother to Arab countries and they showed him the finger.
Now, it's very important to treat Syria as equals. This will have a positive impact on the rest of the Arab countries and relations between Arab countries and Turkey will go into positive.
Essentially, we need to treat Syria like how we treat Azerbaijan. Not bossing around but helping every way in our capabilities. This would show that Turkey is an equal partner and loyal ally.
From there everything is in reach. With Syria back in to fold. There can be a oil and natural gas pipe to Europe for example, more cooperation on defense matters, industry etc..
Future looks bright.
I doubt it, regime was rotten to the core, their only organisational goal was to keep population unspoken and reign of family assad for some social tokens, no cohesion at all, rebels inherited carcass of the state and frankly if the turks, gulfies does not step in immediately with money and material support they will collapse sooner or later, they need umbrella ASAP.
Misak-I Milli shaped in 1919 September Erzurum Congress and accepted in the last Ottoman Parliament in January 1920. However Sultan signed Sevres treaty. What is wrong with that?
full of shitty weapons which can not match with anything except attacking Syrian People

@hyperman This?
Your lies have been exposed and you are not even slightly having shame don't you.Ah yes, after the rebels took Aleppo, she says that:
" after 100 years, the Turkish flag has flown over Aleppo, this is a great victory. "
It has nothing to do with your people interest in occupying Syria
israelis destroying old jets and boats on the coast is not too much of an issue.
The real issue is to see if the ballistic missiles and how much of the air defense assets have survived.
Syria needs to adopt the Houthi/Hezbollah strategy, which is drones, Ballistic missiles and ambush air defense. coupled with everything put underground in deep tunnel networks.
