Let me please clarify certain geostrategic concepts to facilitate understandment.
There are very few relatively independent countries, independent from the Zionist western hegemony, in the world right now, Russia

Iran

and China

happen to be some of them. Some are more independent than others and a few others are in the process of solidifying their intent for independence. Despite this please understand that EVERY single Muslim majority populated country, besides Iran, is literally a colony of the West to some extent. Iran is the ONLY Muslim state that has a leadership whose worldview is Islamic, however problematic at times, and henceforth by default anti-colonial in nature. For this reason Iran will make alliances with other powers who also seek independence, whether it may Armenia, Russia, Venezuela or North Korea. These alliances are not static and will occasionally shift depending on the political situation of the contemporary ally. One must understand that the primary driver for Iran's alliances is to promote and solidify internal independence and facilitate the external emergence of an Islamic worldview of freedom and justice. This is for Iran a religious obligation promoted through statecraft. This standpoint is diametrically opposed to the zionist West's intention to freely and violently exploit all natural resources of the world for the benefit of a selected few. Obviously this resistance comes at a great cost to Islamic Republic and it's people. Unfortunately the vast majority failed to comprehend and appreciate the sacrifices made by Iran for the collective good of humanity.
Regrettably due to the pervasive nature of western disinformation Iran has difficulty informing the vast majority of people outside it's Islamic Shia community.
Unfortunately my experience with many from the subcontinent is that they have a problematic western influenced view of Iran and a very limited historical memory. Until recently the lingua franca of most of South Asia was Persian but this not time to remind those of you who believe in the benign influence of the West of such folly but I politely recommend that you use Google, however limited it may be, to do a simple search on the matter of colonialism. It disingenuous to omit from knowledge and memory the evil horrors inflicted by western colonialism on the people's of South Asia.
