If we can somehow use a time machine and return Middle East to 100 years back, I think there may be more peace and prosperity. Go Ottoman Empire!

Believe it or not but there's no appetite among the Turkish elites for Arab lands. Even Erdoğan's recent remarks are empty statements aimed to please a certain demographic of the Turkish society that is actually a minority in Türkiye.

The Ottoman Empire is history, indeed, it's our history but we should focus on the future. We're Turks and destined to move forward, not backwards.

But why would the Turks be unhappy becoming the hegemons of the Middle East, not occupying or ruling over them. Something in the nature of British Commonwealth. Because, between you and me, I think, a lot of Arab/Muslim countries haven't figured out how to rule themselves. Democracy be damned, not even good authoritarianism. Look at Yemen, they give a confirmation of Darwin's theory.

Once Zio-US is finally kicked out, ME will be ruled by Turkey and Iran who will have their own spheres of influence.


Those are the only two modern nations in the region.

The Arabs partially know that Turkey and iran are the real powers,

Israel is a pipsqueak, but it's a pipsqueak funded and armed by the U.S, wherever and whenever Israel fails the U.S steps in

To deter the natural state of Turkey and iran ascending the Arabs have almost used and stood back allowing Israel to light fires and keep the U.S involved, but it will happen anyway and when it does both the U.S and Israel will be removed from the middle east

Not a single Arab nation shows any sign of being a modern nation state.

The natural order when external influence is removed is for Turkey and Iran to run the show by craving out spheres of influence in the Arab world.

No as Iran has an extensive and diversified industrial base.

No Arab country even comes close and they lead Turkey in areas like Sam and SLV.

Lets just agree to disagree I don't care enough to argue about it. But Iran's days of influence in the region is gone. They should focus on Afghanistan and Pakistan.

In 1924? Lebanon and Syria were under French control,Iraq,Palestine and Jordan under British control.

No Ottoman Empire.

You don't have info on the numbers,I don't have info on the numbers. Anyone can go and say "All Syrians so happy".

And Turkey is not protecting the interests of Sunni Arabs,Turkey is protecting its own interests and agenda.
Might as well grab a bit of land by the pretext of buffer zones.
