Pakistan Missiles - Updates, News & Discussion

Okay but what's the purpose of an ICBM? Is it worth facing US sanctions?
After USA sanctions you are still asking why we need it? Because anyone who reads and follows current affairs and international relations would know the way USA does things. So ICBM with MIRV capability is needed plus SLBM and nuclear submarines

I don't think the problem is that Pakistan is building ICBMS, I don't think they are. The problem is Pakistan is now developing systems that can reach Israel, and the Americans have been told by Israel to stop that.

Pakistan will have seen the success of a number of Iranian derivatives Ballistic missile platforms and will be working on them, in particular Hypersonic platforms.
Pakistan needs ICBM, If it's not developing ICBM and SLBM then Pakistan is on path of suicide.

Agree that you need icbm because of threat is not just india but any other imperial power

Exactly.

Why does Pakistan need ICBMs?
Because Pakistans has enemies thousands of kms away. Usa, NATO, israel is not a friend of Pakistan. Rather opportunist vultures waiting for the moment Pakistan is in a weak spot to sweep in and attempt to denuclearize Pakistan.

After seeing what israel has done in Middle East with western support, if anyone still thinks the west and israel isn’t a threat to Pakistan’s nuclear program, they are living in a big delusion.

The capability to hit all potential enemies must exist. Or else Pakistan will end up like middle eastern countries who have fell victim to the west. Economy is not an excuse. Security and stability brings economic prosperity, not the other way around.

Pakistan is overwhelmingly a conservative Muslim majority country with Pakistani patriots living in it. A minority elite is currently controlling and ruling the country. If history has taught us anything, monitory elite who rule based on injustice can’t rule forever. Many such examples in history where decades of oppression and injustice ends in a matter of days. Muslims never lose hope. If Allah wills he can’t guide even the slave injust rulers.
israel, usa and the west want go denuclearize Pakistan and stop it from developing advanced missiles precisely for that reason. For Pakistan’s enemies it remains a threat as long as it’s a Muslim country. For them they fear the day a sudden regime change happens and their puppets are replaced by free independent Pakistanis with nukes and icbms.

Who cares what happens in 300 years

British sat here for 300 years

Anybody knows how much it cost to build hypersonic wind tunnels including maintenance logistics etc and technical barriers.

Disagree anyone who reads history will tell you this..

On a personal note, my question is directed at all those who have mocked me in the past, as well as those who repeatedly suggested that Pakistan needs to develop ICBMs and SLBMs. After the recent U.S. attacks and subsequent sanctions, do you still hold the same stance? Or has this finally opened your eyes?

I firmly believe that Pakistan urgently requires ICBMs equipped with MIRV capabilities. At the very least, we need three variants: one with an 8,000 km range, another with a 12,000 km range, and a third exceeding 16,000 km. Additionally, Pakistan must prioritize the development of at least three nuclear submarines capable of carrying SLBMs with ranges between 8,000 and 10,000 km.

Moreover, it is imperative to extend the range of our cruise missiles. Ideally, we should aim to develop a system akin to the Dongfeng 1000— a supersonic cruise missile with a Mach 4 speed and a range of 3,000 to 4,000 km.

These advanced weapon systems should be pursued with the same determination and resolve that led to the successful development of our nuclear weapons program. If necessary, we must adopt a "whatever it takes" approach to achieve these goals, as national security demands nothing less.

Agreed. My biggest fear is that if we do not achieve the above, the same fate that has fallen on the Gazans/Palestinians will fall on the people of Pakistan.

Don't worry that is not happening. As we have enough nukes to strike massively at least on India. We can pretty much. Even if we drop 50 on India alone life on entire planet will get wiped out.

I hope so but we also need some sort of defence against the ultra Islamaphobic nations that have a blood lust for Muslims and see Pakistan as a threat even though Pakistan doesn't see them as a threat or enemy.
