Turkey Syria - News & Updates

Sadly, same rate of casualties as in Gaza war. But crueler when your own country kills you.
Even crueler when armed bandits appear and set up shop in the city and they won't leave so the government has to barrel bomb them.

Yes, killed in a civil war. More than ten times the casualties of Gaza war where Hamas initiated action against a sovereign state. i.e. more than Ten Gaza 'Genocides'

Cut out the bull.

The entity was in occupation of both Gaza and the West Bank as announced by the ICJ.

According to your own "rules based order" the Palestinians have every right to armed resistance.

Allegations have been made of war crimes by the Zionist entity. which should have been investigated by a neutral body as per norms. On the other hand, entity brags about its war crimes on TV and social media.

Are you still using the Gazan figures of deaths from a year ago? Most reputable people think the true number is unfortunately 5-10 times that now.

As for Assad, 500,000-600,000 people died from all sides during a war that last 10 times as long as the genocide of Gaza so far. How many civilians Assad killed either deliberately or accidentally is going to be an estimate of course and it may not even be 50% of that number.

I had no intention of wading into the politics of Gaza war. Just pointing out the absurdity of calling violence between Israel and Gaza as 'Genocide' but violence between Syrian Vs. Syrian as a no-biggie non-event. This is not just in Syria. Somalia, Sudan, Yemen etc., civil wars are also non-genocides.

Some folks are getting dead upset at the liberation of Damascus. What'll they do when the fundamental power centers, as three vertices of a triangle of this geography, is again activated: Istanbul, Damascus and Baghdad?

And, don't forget Trabzon-Tabriz-Baku axis....

The Turkish armed forces is helping build a 300K strong Syrian Army in a couple of years. Needless to say it'll be formed in its image.....

It's going to take at a few years to secure and unite Syria.

Obviously HTS leader is going to be undermined during this process. By Iran, Hezbollah, Israel, UAE, Russia, Iraq, UAE, Jordan, and others.

But if they hold out against the conspiracy then Syria's recovery will be solidified.

If the Turks manage to do that, they'll have a sufficient ally or at least "cannon fodder". Even if they have 100,000 Syrian proxies and 30,000 Libyans ready to help them, that's a big win for them.

It's a golden opportunity for the "Turkification" of the Syrian Armed Forces. Turkey has won the creation of a client State and has created one more ally in the region. The investments and funding of the new Syrian State are only logical. Now they can have more bases in the Middle-East and influence.

I don't know how much of a gain it would be for the Turkish economy, but the Turkish Lira could become a second official or unofficial currency of Syria, alongside the Syrian Pound.

If everything goes according to plan of course, because there are a lot of big players in the country right now. But generally,it's a big win for Turkey.
