Chinese 6th Generation Aircraft News & Discussions

What we can learn about China's J-36 (from America's FB-22)

Meet the J-36: China's Sixth-Generation Fighter Jet That Threatens US Air Dominance

@NGAD IS THE BEST

Personally, I think J-36 is a good candidate for phasing out the aging JH-7 while J-50 may be a better choice for phasing out the Flankers. What do you think?

J36 will replace J20 not jh-7 and j50 will replace J35 not Flankers lol

IMO J-50 replace Flankers considering both are built by Shenyang. J-36 is bigger and more suited to the bomber role and is better for replacing JH-7.

Once again ... there is nothing like a one on one successor or replacement especially not the J-36. It is something totally different!

there is no replacement of JH-7 on the horizon so far, and J-36 is not for replacing JH-7, in fact there is no need to replace single mission capable JH-7

JH-7 is like F-111 and Tornado. It's not that versatile. Future combat jets must be multirole. Both J-36 and J-50 are fully multirole. They can do air to air as well as they can do air to surface.
