Beijing subway become the longest in the world, 9 out of 10 longest city subways from China

All I know of the transformers is the first few gens, never got into the Gundams but they look super cool, obviously the inspiration for early Transformers.

Optimus prime died, Hot Rod used the matrix and became Rodimus, leader of the autobots. Megatron kinda became Galvatron, Unicron was a planet.. FOrtress Maximus vs Scorpanok in gen3? was cool too :D
Mobile Suit Gundam predated Transformer, actually it was the Transformer that took inspiration of Gundam instead of the other way around, in fact Daniel Warren Johnson appear on a screen rant article stating that his Gen 4 Transformer is an homage for one of the best, if not the best, Gundam series, the 08th MS Team

When will they start making a Gundam Train?

Tokyo's subway in China probably won't make top 20
Taken both Tokyo and Shanghai subways. Quality is almost the same... Shanghai network is way larger. But the crowd on Tokyo subway are relatively peaceful and polite.

Chinese subways are less crowded than Japan's, most times are very peaceful and orderly other than rush hours.

Tokyo city railways are not subways, Tokyo subway is just 304 kilometers, probably won't make top 20 cities in China.

Really? Did you see these "professionals" in Shanghai subway?

Xinjiang Urumqi subway. Public benches can wirelessly charge your phones and train seats are heated in winter season.

Subways in China's prefecture-level cities. China has several hundred prefecture-level cities, they are bigger than towns, smaller than proper cities.

Quality isn't the same. China's are far more impressive.

Nopes....it was already overly crowded during Covid days when I was deployed to Shanghai in 2022. I found the subway network very impressive, very affordable and extremely easy to use....Alipay worked flawlessly. NYC subway should be taking notes.

In Tokyo I didn't see the train pushers....I was there a few months ago.

NYC subway is a joke, a humiliation for US, much disgusting than many developing countries' subways.

China opens nearly 40km of new metro lines

Existing lines have been extended in four cities including 19.25km of Line 13 in Shenzhen.
July 9, 2026

METRO extensions totalling 39.05km opened in four Chinese cities in June.

In Xi’an, a 1.8km extension to Line 5 to a terminus at the new Xi’an East high-speed station opened on June 26, just in time for the opening of the station as the northern terminus of the Xi’an to Shiyan high speed railway which opened on June 30.

Also on June 30, in Shenyang, northeastern China, services started on the eastern section of Line 3 between Wanjialan in the southeastern central part of the city and Nanliguan in the southwest. The 14km section has 15 stations and takes the length of Line 3 to 37km with 27 stations, four of which offer interchange with other lines.

In Shenzhen, in the Greater Bay Area of southern China, Phase 2 of Line 13 opened for revenue service on June 28. The 19.25km line has 11 stations and offers interchange to lines 1, 2, 5, 6, 9 and 11. Operated by now standard Grade of Automation (GoA) 4 driverless trains, the line expands the Shenzhen metro network to 637km serving 452 stations.

In nearby Foshan, the full length of metro Line 3 became operational on June 18 with the opening of a 4km section between Lianhe and Zhongshan Park, that connects the previously-disconnected northwestern section of the line with the central and southern parts. The line now serves 37 stations, two of which offer interchange, with three more to do so in future.
