And where is it written—based on the religion—that the country needs to divide?
If India is a democracy and declares itself Hindu and many muslims want to split that is their democratic right

You have to ask Muslim Indians to get the true picture. At poorer levels of society, their insecurity has increased significantly.Dont get it. Saw this news today and it didnt add up. The portrayal by Indians on here is one of peace tranquility and happiness. In reality the "soft trolling" by the BJP is very apparent.
The people demaging the BJP image and the image of the Sanghis are the BJP supporters and the Sanghis. That sums up everything. These paid articles can't demage India's image a bit. We just pass it and move on. The articles is pure nonsense without any reference. Focusing on just to demage BJP image. Lol
Stop adding fuel to the fire. Only the religious right, the Sanghis, are trying to remove secularism. Given their majority, they may succeed, but it means nothing.Secularism was weaking hindiusm which is why they rolled back.
I just wanted to broaden the discussion.No.
Why cant we discuss the actual significant rise in hate speech? Why do you want to stray down a cul de sac and duck out of the topic in hand?
Anything to demonstrate this?Under Modi India has earned the title of fake news factory.
Anything to demonstrate this?
Modi is the embodiment of hate. This is why people like yourself vote for this monster.
This is what happens when people talk broad generalities and vaguely wave their hands about in the air.The article says "including Modi". Give me reference from article, ok leave article, give reference from Anywhere where Modi spew hate in last 11 years. That will expose the left radical agenda in this article.
In most developing or third world democratic nations, the attacks on minorities by governments failing to meet the needs of their support base is evident. The educated majority either calls out the government's bluff or else the nation is doomed to failure. I don't know much about India's constitution or its judiciary. Can only hope there are adequate checks and balances to protect its minorities
Not unless that is permitted under the Constitution. There is no such provision, and no such transcendent human right. If India is a democracy and declares itself Hindu and many muslims want to split that is their democratic right
It is not a CNN article buddy. It is CNN buddy. These articles aren't paid for at all. The US is your ally and rarely do we witness any criticism aimed against anti-China bulwark India. You should take this factual reporting very seriously.
There are, but these are both severally constitutional provisions and administrative actions that flow from these provisions. Now, if the implementing authorities, the persons who have to enforce the constitution fail to do their duty, the country is in trouble. Can only hope there are adequate checks and balances to protect its minorities
bunch of goofy leftist nobodies, who funding this circus ?India’s religious minorities have faced a “staggering” rise in hate speech over the past year, including from top leaders of the ruling Hindu nationalist party of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to a report released Monday.
