During wars of aggression, they always dangle the bait of a false peace, divide public opinion in the enemy nation, erode resistance gradually, and then launch a surprise attack when the guard is down—that’s their strategy.
Iraq, Libya, Syria, Lebanon—all were destroyed this way.
Non-Western peoples are too insensitive to the West’s malice and far too ignorant of the Machiavellianism embraced by Western politicians.
Look at Canada and the EU in this recent tariff dispute—they’re furious over minor tariffs, retaliating fiercely, and showing no weakness in negotiations.
That’s how negotiations with the West must be handled. They understand exactly how to deal with their own kind. They know that any concession spells defeat.

Times have changed, now China is true global superpower, they are biggest trading partners to everyone, literally, so they are too big to fail, position that was solely reserved for usa... Trump declared economic war to allies, decided to take Greenland from Danmark, of all states, to be prepared for the future global reality...

Maybe we can talk about biasing forum postings, like every other forum on the web...

But the fact is that some events from last period are without precedent, and on global scale, directly involved in the issue we are talking about... I understand your position, based on previous experience, very logical approach... But undeniably obvious is the new international situation....

The thing is that Iran has been calling for nuclear weapons free West Asia for a very long time. I don't see a situation where the US would accept such a scenario or where the zionist entity would willing relinquish it's stockpile.
I believe the most likely outcome of these indirect negotiations is the US returning to JCPOA before it expires with all the existing preconditions and an immediate lifting of all unilateral sanctions imposed by the zionist West.

The recent revelations of a huge missile base in Sudan is interesting.

The resistance too, is not sitting still. Day by day, more chess pieces arrive...

perhaps you forgot but Iran didn't have diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia until recently and those countries supported sanctions against Iran and not diplomacy

For Qatar this is probably true, but I follow media and Saudis supported negotiations, even offered to mediate as same as they hosted usa-Russia negotiations... They are aware that escalation will be devastating for their infrastructure, and Iran already made it clear previously... and no cry for them from their western friends...

Back in 2015 JCPOA these country were openly advocating for a full war against Iran and dismantlement of everything by force, and didn't supported JCPOA talks

Now they support a deal and are against war in Iran

They backed off from every single opportunity to wage a full war against Iran, i think after they saw the advancements in the missile and drone arsenal and seeing the attack magnitude against Israel and KSA, they backed off from warmongering and instead chose diplomacy to keep their country at bay from being attacked

What motivated the PGCC to chose peace is probably that their countries developed a lot and attracts more and more westerners, sports events etc, so at the end their primary objective is to keep any attack at bay or else it would shatter their country's reputation of being safe for westerners and not at war
