Syrian Civil War and The future of Syria after liberation

aThe Americans destroyed ISIL. Before their intervention, your useless resistance axis was fleeing so fast that they forgot the underwear in Karbala. Your fake axis was only useful in killing innocent Sunni kids.
How many accounts you pan i$raheli false flagger zionist turd hold?

Trump himself admitted they created ISIL and the goal was destruction of the countries who had stood against zionists

You enjoying resistance axis and Islamic countries are getting destroying while your government makes money by selling oil to zionists even with Greek ships (your enemy)

No wonder your father's nation ataturk was an extremist Islam hater Jew

Soon or late you will pay for your betrayal against Muslims

You sell oil and goods to zionists and at the same time you're Muslim lover !

Nice joke

I'm just pointing out the fake "resistance", Its all Iran using groups and now deciding nah we are not going to destroy ourselves to save you. One sided loyalty where they serve Iran, not Iran helping them.

Why is Iran pulling advisors out of Yemen? Not a word on Hezbollah, Hell even Iraq.

The mere fact that that even Iraq, Iran has not been able to expel US forces or facilitate any sort of sovereignty when it has PMUs in govt with a Pro Iran Prime Minister and they can't even withdraw Oil revenue from the US to place in Iraqi banks or elsewhere, just shows how much of a joke this is with regards to "resistance".

Thats not me saying it, thats literally the "resistance" people saying it, Iraqi politicians who were pro Iran have been criticizing openly now at Iran's abandonment of them.

Trump’s False Obama-ISIS Link

Trump dropped supply of arms to Syrian rebels as Turkey took responsibility in this regard but Trump benefited from Obama's plan to defeat ISIL groups in Syria.

I expected better from you being a senior poster here, but I cannot believe you are peddling lies that Assad created ISIS/ISIL.

ISIS/ISIL share the same ideology as Al-Qaeda, and like Al-Nusrah, are an off shoot of Al-Qaeda.

Jake Sullivan previously told his then-boss Hillary Clinton that al Qaeda “is on our side in Syria.”

Similarly, Al-Qaeda was a creation of the US through the Mujahideen; and Taliban was their offshoot.

Jolani was an Al-Qaeda, Islamic State of Iraq, Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, Al Nusrah member; all being supported by the US against the Assad regime.

All the unsavory Salafi Jihadi groups in the region are the creation of the CIA.

Please provide one concrete piece of evidence from an impartial source that ISIS was a creation of Assad.

Dear, you are not telling me anything new. I am fully aware of the fact that the US, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia worked together to establish Mujahideen groups to challenge Soviet forces in Afghanistan. One of these Mujahideen groups became the Al-Qaeda Network in 1988 under the leadership of Osama Bin Laden. This was his first step towards creating Ummah. Osama Bin Laden was also opposed to American military footprint in the US and this position put him at crosshairs with the US eventually. However, many had no clue to the extent of sympathy and support for the Al-Qaeda Network in some Islamic countries until wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Syria and Yemen broke out. The US conducted a series of COIN operations including Operation Anaconda in Afghanistan, crackdown on the Al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) including assassination of Abu Musab Al Zarqawi in Iraq, Operation Neptune Spear in Pakistan, and numerous drone strikes in different Islamic countries to degrade Al-Qaeda Network on a larger scale. The US also compelled Taliban groups to prevent Anti-American plots in Afghanistan. The US continues to act against Al-Qaeda operatives around the world when found (see this and this). Pakistan also arrests Al-Qaeda operatives when found within its space (see this).

I shared a Syrian research paper that explains HOW and WHY the Assad setup (or the Assad regime) supported Salafi-Jihadi networks while maintaining plausible deniability officially. The Assad setup wanted to replicate the Mujahideen model of warfare to defeat US forces in Iraq. In line with this policy, Assad setup allowed Al-Qaeda operatives to establish a base of operations in Syria and use it as the launchpad to challenge American forces in Iraq:

After the American occupation of Iraq in 2003, the Syrian government joined in the war next door with its same arsonist/fire-fighter strategy, often turning a blind eye to jihadis who had reached Syria and were training there before heading to Iraq and, less frequently, providing training itself and actively encouraging them to join the fray. From the first year of the war, as security checks on the Iraqi side of the border disappeared and Syria looked the other way, foreign fighters began joining al-Qaeda in Iraq, led by Abu Musaab al-Zarqawi. In the next decade, that organisation would develop into the most notorious terrorist group by far—Daesh—after receiving training at the Syrian border town of al-Bukamal.[14] This prompted the US Defence Intelligence Agency in October 2003 to call Syria ‘a major point of access’ for jihadis; in 2005, US military leaders described Syrian cooperation as ‘very unhelpful’.[15]

Abu Musaab al-Zarqawi was a Jordinian national and how he reached Iraq? Through Syria. Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa (Abu Mohammad al-Jolani) is a Syrian national and how he reached Iraq? Though Syria. American forces KILLED the former but ARRESTED the latter in Iraq in 2006. The AQI had lost much ground in Iraq in 2008 but regrouped in Syria in 2011 for another push into Iraq under the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) framework. Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi also disclosed in his book that ISIL groups invaded Iraq from Syria. These accounts seem to MATCH.

The US-led Operation Inherent Resolve in Iraq and Syria is the largest and most ambitious COIN undertaking in the world that is aimed to checkmate ISIL movement in the region. But as powerful as the US is, it does not have control over hearts and minds of people around the world. The US fully understands that Syria and Iraq have a role to play in stopping the ISIL movement.

The Assad setup was playing with fire and ended up burning itself. Obama administration closed all prison compounds including Camp Bucca under American control during transition of power to Iraqi government in 2011 to manage Iraqi affairs. This decision paved the way for release of thousands of prisoners including Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa in Iraq in 2011. Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa distanced himself from AQI and decided to support Syrian rebels during the Syrian Civil War. Who would have thought that an ex-AQI operative would come to dethrone the Assad setup itself?

The God works in mysterious ways and all should fear God instead of partaking in corruption and mischief.
This research paper from Syria is psyops to justify regime change in Syria, there is no evidence of the Assad regime providing any type of material support, financial support the way the CIA did. Quoting a research paper from Syria from rebel sources is laughable, and does not qualify anything you said.

About how Zarqawi and Jolani got in and out of Syria respectively, the Assad regime did not control large swathes of Syrian territory because of US’s material and financial support for Salafi Jihadis, to instigate regime change. Assad barely had enough money to pay his military trying to protect him, how would he be supporting ISIS?

Research works have far more credibility that Twitter narratives. A research paper builds its case from use of multiple sources that can be independently checked for required information unlike Twitter narratives. Syria served as the gateway for movement of militants from Syria to Iraq for many years and this fact is acknowledged in Iraqi circles. Assad setup was fully aware of this development and allowed it.

Some Islamic countries play a negative role in the affairs of other Islamic countries instead of acting responsibly in times of crisis. This needs to change. If there is a need for intervention in another country, it should be for a just cause. If you play with fire, there is the possibility of burning yourself in the process. Learn the lesson or find out the hard way. This is how karma works.
