IOK has one of the worlds most militarised zones with a combined personnel count of over 1 Million+ troops.

The Indian Armed Forces in IOK include:
-Indian Army
-Navy
-Airforce
-Special Operations Division
-Central Armed Police Forces
-Border Security Force
-Central Reserve Police Force
-Sashastra Seema Bal
-ITBP
-The Jammu and Kashmir Police have their own special forces unit focued on anti-insurgency labelled the SOG (Special Operations Group).

Indian SF are deployed in the region including Indian Army Paratrooper SF, Indian Navy MARCOS and IAF Garud Commandos. The Indian Navy Special Forces have the unique role of securing the Wular Lake.

The region is a maze of Military and Police Checkposts:

The border with Pakistan is one of the most heavily polices, monitored and the Indian Government has expanded the fencing to such a level that they have erased hectares of farmland in the process:

The region is home to: Northern Command | Headquarters: Udhampur, Jammu & Kashmir. It has three subordinate units or Corps, such as:

- XIV Corps having headquarters at Leh
- XVI Corps having headquarters at Nagrota
- XV Corps having headquarters at Srinagar

Furthermore, seven divisions and one Brigade (10 artillery Brigades) function under the Northern command.

The IAF has a number of Squadrons in the region including:
Leh Squadron - based out of Leh Air Base & Troop Transport Mi17 V5
223 Squadron - AFS Srinagar

Please note the distances (as the crow files from Muzaffarabad to Pahalgam)

169Km - please pay close attention to the terrain.

Right in the heart of Pahalgam rests the camp for 116Bn of the Central Reserve Police Force

Are the Government of India honestly trying to claim that a handful of people in flipflops armed with small arms managed to traverse 169 kilometres deep into one of the most militarised zones in the world, across extremely difficult terrain, bypassing numerous check posts and carry out a terrorist attack right next to the base of the Central Reserve Police Force and escape without being detected?

Rather than point fingers at Pakistan, the Indian people should ask their ministers, their home department, the security forces and intelligence agencies, HOW? HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? Are you so incompetent?

But we all know the truth don't we...

a mediator must have good relations with both

and you have negotiated with them many many times before ... I suspect this will end with diplomacy too. at least we should hope it does
No ones taking it up boss

Sounding like an insistence on your side you are helpful ..... not a consensus

Strange request when Iran has so much on its plate

What's in it for Iran?

These missile have freshly arrived (inside this week) from China to be deployed on the entire JF-17C fleet, in view of rising regional tensions.

Again, China has shown what an absolute GOLD STANDARD of an ally it is.

Indians know that there was categorically no state level involvement from Pakistan, yet they have decided to destroy our agriculture and are singing and clapping about the harm this will cause to civilians. Their nation has a genuine sickness.

These are the last nails on the IAF's coffin....

I am pretty sure the IAF pilots would refuse to fly in combat missions like the way they did on 02-27 as per Bhatati inquiry reports leaked to the media....

Even Israil and Iblis can't save Bharat now....

No I don't disagree with your premise it's correct. However they just see it as a sign of weakness. Only steel is needed for the time being.
Regarding negotiations of the past, that really hasn't happened much since their Hindutva governments came. So there is no point.
understandable. but diplomacy is always preferable to war.

Pre-BJP, you still couldn't manage a solution even with meek Indian governments at the helm for decades. So you really can't blame Indians for repeatedly voting the BJP into power in many ways, it's your actions that have fueled the rise and consolidation of Hindutva.
Funniest post I have read in a while.

Hindutva mentality has existed in the subcontinent since the well documented barbarism and genocides of Ashoka, but probably well before then also.

Many powerful non-dharmic rulers kept a lid on it over millenia.

In 1947, Nehru held up a mask to conceal it for a little longer. That mask has gone. There is nothing the reasonable 10% of Indian hindus can (or wish to) do in order to stop the saffron tide. The hindutva mentality targets ALL Muslims throughout the subcontinent, as well as numerous other enemies at home and abroad.
