It wouldn't surprise me one bit and is quite worrying. Pakistan can deal with India but Israel brings an array of technologies, intelligence info AND American resources to this conflict.
But I hope Israel is not too deep in it: Pakistan generally stayed out of the Israel-Gaza conflict except for diplomatic statements and some aid sent to the Palestinians.

Pakistanis have been always aware of the deep dependence on the Americans and their allies for Pakistan's economy AND of the threat to Pakistan's east which would be amplified if Israel gets too involved; even without Israeli involvement, Pakistan's low resources are to defend Pakistan against India. Those are the two main reasons for Pakistan to not get too involved in the Middle East events and I had tried to convey those in the Israel-Gaza conflict thread for the last 18 months on this forum.

In the arena of EW/EA you're also exposing your capabilities too. Don't discount the China factor here! So, they'll share what they can afford to share.....

Pakistan will not do this as this will give India the excuse to further build its narrative - something we have denied them so far.

That is exactly my point, with IWT the game is changed forever, and Kashmiri's should take heed, look at what Modi is doing with Muslims in Indian states other than Kashmir, sooner or later they will try to change the demography of Kashmir, now we also need some Insaan ke bache and strong leadership in Pakistan, this conflict will change a lot of things for sure, and also determine the nature of future conflicts between the two nations.

How can Kashmiris 'take heed' unless they perceive some concrete help coming to them from Pakistan? You know, Kashmir has been especially boiling since 1989 but Pakistan, other than injecting some fighters into IoK here and there, didn't and couldn't do much because Pakistan had no stomach to fight India in a full fledged war. But the risks are too enormous now because the current Indian govt is certainly on the path of Israelis and there can't be the old policies from Pakistan.
Either Pakistan put enough deterrence on India to ever use water as weapon by a punishing conflict and/or take IoK or Pakistan will remain subjected to Indian water blackmail for the foreseeable future. The choices are becoming 'binary' now.

I dont think this is a good indication. Not sure what my amateur analysis on this would yield but if they are handicapping their northern command like this - wouldn't that mean that they are betting on a different front on the border for an opening attack?
