I believe that Pakistan has coordinated its response with China and they’ve trapped India. Ultimately this is a clash of civilizations, Islamic and Chinese together against Hindu.
Even if most Muslim countries don’t come out openly in favor of Pakistan, the vast majority of 2 billion Muslims will support it. India has exposed its Islamophobia to the whole world. People have noted its support for the Israeli genocide and everyone, Muslim or non-Muslim, who supported Palestine has automatically started supporting Pakistan.
For China it’s a good time to cut India down to size. With the US cutting China off from trade China has nothing to lose from giving India a good thrashing. The US plan to shift huge amounts of manufacturing, eg Apple iPhones, from China to India will be a huge loss. This is a good time to strike while the iron is warm.
Meanwhile, Trump’s MAGA followers don’t particularly like Indians. In fact, the recent flood of Indians to the Anglo countries, US, UK, Canada, Australia, has led to anti-Indian sentiments in all those countries. I’ve never seen so much anti-Indian posts on social media as I’ve been seeing in the last couple of years.
My personal opinion is that Pakistan and China will not let Modi run away before delivering some painful blows.
