Indian false flag and current Indo-Pak stand-off updates

They may want to, and they may get a lucky shot and take down a jet, but that jet would also be shot down straight away alongside others in the formation. The density of the IADS means that there are multiple 'kill shots' available from multiple sources on a given target at any time now. Things have changed a lot since 2019.

I think it would be ideal for India to return the 'Tea is Fantastic. Slurp. Slurp" favor even though that was a one-off event. I bet if India can down just one Pakistani fighter jet, it would go a long way in assuaging the Indian hurt from 2019, to call it all off. Such 'strategic thinkers' the Future Super Power is!

India bans imports from Pakistan amid post-Pahalgam tension

India said on Saturday it had banned the import of goods coming from or transiting via Pakistan and barred Pakistani ships as tensions rise between the nuclear-armed neighbours in the wake of a deadly attack on tourists in India-held Kashmir.

India's Directorate General of Foreign Trade said in a notification that the ban would take effect immediately. "This restriction is imposed in the interest of national security and public policy," it said.

At least 26 people were killed in last week's attack on a mountain tourist destination in the Pahalgam area of the occupied Kashmir valley.

India has accused Pakistan of involvement in the attack, which Islamabad denies. Pakistan has said it has "credible intelligence" that India intends to launch military action.

Pakistan's retaliatory measures have included halting all border trade, closing its airspace to Indian carriers and expelling Indian diplomats.

It has also warned that any attempt to prevent the flow of river water promised under a decades-old treaty would be considered an act of war.

On Saturday, India said Pakistani-flagged ships would not be allowed to visit any Indian port, and Indian flagged-ships would not visit any ports in Pakistan.

"This order is issued to ensure safety of Indian assets, cargo and connected infrastructure, in public interest and for interest of Indian shipping," the Directorate General of Shipping said in a statement.

Trade between the two nations has dwindled over the last few years.

Good post.
I have been saying on PDF for MANY Years: Pakistan is not particularly more corrupt or inefficient when compared with most poor countries, including the countries of the Subcontinent. But unfortunately, Pakistanis were led to believe by the Pakistani Establishment itself that some pious, incorruptible person would be like a magic wand to solve Pakistan's problems, including of corruption. While 'containing' Corruption to acceptable level would be good but a country has to be run with overall political 'wisdom' and the fundamental aspect of that is collective decision making, political accommodations, and continuity of policies. And to be a 'wise' leader would require a flexible personality who would not be driven by an insurmountable rigidity and ego. I am sure Pakistanis here know what I am saying in between words but without getting too explicit about it.
You sir, hit the nail right on the head ! Precisely that, our nation wants an easy solution out, continuing on their own ways and believing one or the other person will take care of it all.

Reminds me of something I read in a book from Mutansar Hussain Tarar, explains the crux of the problem, not his exact words but I'm writing it form memory:

"I was driving one day on the passenger side and the driver, an acquaintance of mine, was complaining nonstop about how corrupt the X politician and how corrupt the Y politician is. We came upon a red traffic light. The guy took a pause form his arguing, looked left, looked right, saw that the traffic warden was busy elsewhere .. and put his foot down and ran across the red signal light. Upon reaching the other end of the road, he once again continued his shouting form where he had left it, about how corrupt all the politicians are and how we need someone to eliminate the corruption" and that's when I (Mustanser Hussein) realized "Most of us are corrupt and we feel guilty about it deep inside, so we just throw the baggage on politicians/police/judges, while we those police/politicians/judges come from us and carry our own ethics tothe top. We take the easy way out by saying that either they are corrupt or they did not train us, and continue on our ways without feeling a bit of guilt ... its the easiest way to feel vindicated without changing ourselves"

That's the crux of the matter. In other societies, it is the people are responsible and honest citizens and they naturally produce such leaders. Never the other way round. But our people do not want to change hence they keep on justifying that some leader will save them from themselves, while not changing themselves.

Yes.... I'm willing to pay price.....
Peaceful India always wakes up next day with new hopes of peace and prosperity for herself and her all neighbors but alas....

Some elements don't want to see peace in this region so instead of dying everyday why not try to finish this for once and all.....

Then why do all of Indias neighbors dont like India? Bangladesh, Sri lanka, Pakistan, China and Nepal …

if you stir your neighbors then you will get a reaction, then you cant pray for peace… its just how the world works

There is no if, they have been doing it for the last 20 years.
but now I feel a change, the leadership seems pretty charged up now. Asim Muneer looks quite aggressive compared to all else and the US seems to be a bit tilted to Pakistan than ever before. This would be a great chance to take legal/ political action, I won't say a military action, at least for now.

To do this job, we needs strong democratic leadership inside Pak...Right now, good luck with leadership of Khawaja and Bilawal whose statements are pointing finger at Pakistan. A powerful national leadership and a strong army ideal situation for the partial or full success if war breaks out.

Kitna intejar keren Sharma ji , 1 century, we more advanced air defenses compare to 2019 if you try to enter Pakistani airspace then your jets will be roasted in the hell, and you're weak case at this time Sharma ji, there are lots of international pressure on India to not to react foolishly

Pakistan should parade Navy commander Kulbhushan Yadav as a reminder to the world who Pakistan has in custody for terrorism
