Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

According to the Pakistani newspaper (Gio News), India entered into a state of diplomatic confusion after the strong military response from Pakistan to its aggression, as its endeavors began to communicate with the leaders of the Arab world, led by Emirati officials, in an attempt to contain the escalating tension. According to diplomatic sources, India asked the Gulf states to use its influence to pressure #Pakistan to reduce the escalation.

Guys, could someone summarize the key points of the past 1 hour so that I could catch up?

Not much is happening at the moment; some accounts are stating that Pakistan is retaliating, but we need further confirmation.

Also, do you live in Russia?

Blackout Procedures in effect in Islamabad and Rawalpindi:
The Rawalpindi district administration has issued strict orders for a complete blackout in all private housing societies from 7pm to 5am until further notice in light of heightened security concerns following Indian aggression.

According to the official directive, street lights will remain switched off throughout the night, and residents are required to turn off all exterior lights, including those in porches, balconies, and gardens.

You can learn more about what a Blackout Procedure is during wartime in my guide here:

A good practice to follow, and every bit counts.

But from a technical and historical perspective, I suspect the efficacy of blackouts has been reduced with modern technology. BVR systems make blackouts as good as nothing. At least in these stages where the boundary has not been crossed.

All the discussion here is diverted to downed IAF jets but very few are talking about any retaliation from Pak which unfortunately not seem to be happening.

Downing few IAF jets is not equal to Indian missile strike on multiple locations in Pak killing over 30 individuals.
It will happen. We need patience.

The GCC should remain silent for a while and let us get on with our business. We need blood for blood for them hitting our kids.

De-escalation is very important. Not only save lives, but also make sure Modi will attend Victory Day parade in Moscow.

There is a part of me which wishes that there shud be another aerial encounter and if pakistan can come back as victorious again.. even by downing one IAF aircraft and not loosing one of their own..
that would demoralise IAF alot.

no matter when and what they fly, they would be nervous for the foreseeable future.
it's a dangerous game tbh.. and has the potential to backfire.. IF .. if we loose one of ours too

Pakistan should ask all Muslim nations that sell oil to India to halt their shipment until these hostilities continue. Dead Serious.

If they continue it should be seen as a HOSTILE ACT and pakistan should reconsider their security arrangements and pull out if necessary. Why should we defend those who fuel our enemy?

They were so crowded. It is possible
