A lot of people say that Iran is just wearing a thin though flashy veneer of being all full mull style but the truth is that religion is pretty weak there, lotsa atheists, agnostic folk, spl among the younger lot.
I am inclined to believe it.
They different from Gulfies, although waha ki bhi I got a few stories, but people say UAE bubble life is much different to Arabia proper.

we claim, 'traditionally', the Kolkata has been found more than a match to Easter Cities like Bangkok, Jakarta, Bali, Kuala Lumpur etc.

Here I'm encourage to answer about my last post#5. First, The Kolkata was capital of British India, it was neither mumbai or Delhi.
Bengali bros and sis, we say it's hard for new cities like Bangalore in list of post#1, to match 'the credibility' of Kolkata. I mean, where we are standing since British India and where this new world, led by cities like Bangalore, standing at present?
How much we all understand the 'depth' of this comparison between Kolkata and Bangalore? Anyhow it was British India why the Whole South Asia was one people?
I would encourage Indian members to share some ideas here. Yaar, anyhow it's the British who named this subcontinent as Then India?
Here, I have information that "Indus River" of Indian Subcontinent was behind deriving the name India, during presence of British. Thanks

I remember the old cities like Karachi was rated more than a match to Seoul - Korea, till independence. Karachi was in match to then British India capital, the Kolkata
