Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

PAF probably got a couple hits in, credit to their Chinese BVRs. But India wasn’t aiming for a fight with the PAF. The mission was simple, hit specific terror camps, not escalate into a full military clash. Once Pakistan responded, India replied. That’s basic escalation logic.

The Rafale getting hit? Sure, embarrassing. But from India’s point of view, this was a first, striking deep inside Pakistan proper, not just Pakistan Azaad Kashmir. And it wasn’t some military dictatorship ordering it.

What stands out is how selective India was. Looks like only camps with confirmed intel were hit. Probably to avoid unnecessary escalation. But since Pakistan seemed more focused on claiming an airforce 'win’ than worrying about a few terror camps, India could’ve easily gone for the probable ones too.

And let’s be honest, hitting major Pakistani bases didn’t seem all that hard. India probably chose not to go for the overkill, deliberately holding back to avoid pushing things further.

Meanwhile, back home, the rest of India apart from the border states barely flinched. It was mostly something to discuss over chai. We were literally finalizing the UK trade deal at the same time — arguing over whisky tariffs and visa quotas for yoga instructors. That’s the advantage of scale.

Still, credit where it's due, the boys at PAF held their nerve, got their moment, and gave their press team something to work with. Can’t fault them for making the most of it.
Incredulous. :giggle:

@vasanthm if you must know one thing know that I personally know of some of the places India initially striked and that not only are they not terrorist hideouts they are literally regular civilian populated areas. And guess what civilians died that I can personally put you in touch with their families.

So when you say they hit “sure” targets have some shame. If you are proud of hitting civilians then that’s your choice but know this that India did not hit all terrorist targets and for one such target I can personally vouch for the rest I’m listening to my friends and colleagues

what they targeted in some cases are mosques that may be loosely affiliated to some organization that funded it or India doesn’t like. That is not a terrorist hideout

It’s like if I claim doud Ibrahim funded a building in Delhi where civilians work and I destroy it

Your government is playin with you and you guys are the terrorists killing civilians

Mr. Sawhney weighs in; the lines between peace and war blurred. IMHO, this should be understood in Pakistan as a state of permanent war, undeclared, if not in kinetic terms then in other vital ones.

which means we need stable politics, economy, diplomacy, narrative etc so the moment India goes crazy after some attack, we can have all those behind our kinetic attack.

what India has done is set a new parameter which will not benefit either side. this may seem like a new providence of striking Pakistan for anything that happens in IIOK or else where in India. But now under the new norm Pakistan will be able to score hits which under the old doctrine was purely of defensive posturing. Because the door now swings both ways. Time will tell if this new norm benefits in the long run. Personally it will be disastrous for both sides.

That's what happens when military actions are made for short-sighted domestic political gains. India has not gotten any strategic benefit with their actions, the new dynamic certainly creates a challenging, dangerous, state of perpetual low-level conflict between the two states. This is not in anyone's benefit.

Are there any more details or conditions to the ceasefire that was announced?

Birds are Ok! not damaged or destroyed.

They are lessons been learned and will be implimented in future

we today Call PAF = Pakistan Air Force /Pakistan FIza`ya

In future it will Pakistan Aerospace Force/in Urdu will remain Fiza`ya as this word has large scope
Space is without Fiza.

The new name should include the word خلا. :D

All, here is the latest!

you will be surprised to hear the shock and awe that Pakistan army and Air Force simultaneously executed to bring India to her knees
When the order was given to attack, almost 30+ Indian military target were picked, both Pakistan, Air Force and Pakistan army fired 350+ projectiles , a combination of Fateh1&2, baburs and one sortie of Cm400AKG against s400, within 30 minutes of execution order. The Brahmos Depot alone got 50 projectiles hitting it within 30 seconds. This is unprecedented in the history of modern warfare.
This one attack brought shivers in Indian Higher command and they reached to US for ceasefire.

I have seen the video of Pathankot hit. I could count 15 projectiles hitting with 10 seconds, It was soul shattering and reverberation was so intense that i thought it will sheer me apart.

Kudos to the soldiers, their professionalism their discipline and their commitment to the nation for keeping a coward, a slithering sinister enemy at bay.
If that's true then instead of concentrating projectiles in western india, they should had gone from central and south to Eastern India as well to give the message that each and every India can be hit. This would had send shock and awe towards Hindu extremists as well

Worth to watch.

Major Gobar Arya wants make us cry but see now how much sanddor dhari naareess crying.....waiting for suhaag raat.

problem with india is that they want themselves considered among the nations who are being looked up. they want hegemony and power over neighboring states.
they think they are superior, smart and a super power.
their mental upbringing is so deceitful fed by Modi regime over the years and not by taking some efforts to rise as a great nation.
with same attitude, this woman is narrating her point.
some years back on this forum i said, i would love to see Modi stay for long as premier of India.
what else we need when we have someone fool, arrogant and presumptuous in our neighbors.

Their whole ideology had changed recently to ask for rights not independence.
