Bloomberg, taking a big interest here.

For those, who can look beyond bullets missiles and guns with respect to defense may infer more import.

For those only thinking about bullets missiles and guns carry on....

It shows the commitment of China and the gradual falling slope for the West. I don't know how they can help Hindutva Bharat, which is approaching to be a 100% nut job devoid of any rational thoughts and behavior, to get out of this quagmire. The more they get involved the more of their weakness will get exposed. It's a "catch 22" problem....

Operation Sindoor Round 2 / India carries out another strike. "RAW" network busted in Balochistan.

Looks like back to the square one....

I don't criticize the sentiment or the emotional expression from anyone on this, nor the desire to see any of these attacks immediately.

What I am referring to is the direction taken by the decision-makers on this, as you have socialized a decision to potentially start a war as your countermeasure to terrorism.

After all, India has attacked pure conventional military assets as a counter terrorism measure. That is inherenty nonsense, and therefore the reciprocal reaction will just be.... hey this is just a straight up military confrontation.

That's all I am trying to explain to you, that all said and done, it comes down to a military confrontation. You should watch the haqqani interview on The wire.
There is also the long held belief here that these LeT, JeM etc guys are asymmetric warfare tools of the Pak mil.

Those alleged indoctrination centers/seminaries got hit hard, the airbases attacks were more messaging than a real assault.

Of course, we keep scaling this ladder and eventually find ourselves in a good old proper war. We should all wish for things to not go that far.

We must keep in mind that this is a 50 to 100 year project, as declared openly in the west. So we are about 1/4 to a half down the road, there is no chance that the strategy direction has changed but I am not sure about the strategy implementation

Suppose, that you abandon the strategy, just treat India as a significant but none partnered nation, then would you not really just lose Asia completely.

Maybe, the plan is let's switch to congress, and after all it will be the Congress guys flaunting there more polished English to the west in the coming days and months

Mosques with civilians is that was hit by India. The airbase attacks also involved BrahMos missiles and drones at a huge cost so it was a real assault, not just messaging.

From Pakistani side, it was a war by India imposed on Pakistan for sake of domestic politics and regional hegemony.

The rise and fall both progress through zig-zag paths like the way the stock prices' rise and fall show. Important thing is to see the trendline not the headlines, as President Clinton once suggested....

You see, this is the sort of logic where you think you are having a pillow fight, but it ends up being broken noses, bruises and broken bones.

It will probably become a meme in itself, how both Nations lob missiles at one another, then self-declare how proportionate and balanced and non-escalatory the action was.

Modi just poached Tharoor, the most articulate angreji speaker of them all :P

There's a saying here:

Straight drive Sachin se seekho,
Politics khelna Modi se seekho !

I don't know, to be honest I'm just speculating. On this trajectory, by the next election I don't think modi will be looking at an easy victory, that much seems apparent right now, depends what else happens

Still a few years to go, we'll find out.

They're rudderless but, sails also all torn up, and captain is a pappu.

Honestly, it is bad for the health of our democracy, but try explaining it to the La Dinastia, Sonja madam ji is determined ki unka beta bhi wazir e azm ki kursi pe sawar ho.

Didn't you say that you are Indian democracy, this Indian friend? How do you explain this? Why should this be the case in a society governed by the rule of law? If this is in China, the police will definitely be dealt with, and this is a common phenomenon in your India

They are as idiots as Modi and gang.

Frankly i am annoyed at the line taken by foreign media from the recent war, which is all about Chinese tech and future Chinese arms sales and Taiwan!! The collaboration between China and Pakistan and the way a small country like Pakistan defied a huge power like India and forced it to stop its aggression, is being waved off :( The Chinese in a lab could not have pulled any of this off themselves.
Don't worry yourself.

It's a game, a clever game that China has been at the receiving end of historically. The white man and the brahminist always used to suggest "China couldn't have done this without USSR's help". Look at China now.

The best thing we can do as Pakistanis is to let the white man and the brahminist believe in their own propaganda.

We know full well the recent outcome was due to a partnership between two very able and capable nations, both contributing in different ways. If the tabloid journos of the world seek to downplay the Pakistani achievements specifically, let them.

Chest thumping gets us nowhere as a civilisation.

For the exact same reason, let the global media think we couldn't possibly have downed 6 jets and a S400 radar. This narrative actually suits us best in the long run. No further pictures need to be released.

"We will surprise you" said a wise man once, not that long ago.
