40x J-35, KJ-500 and HQ-19 confirmed by Gov of Pakistan official handle in a package of $3.7bn

$3.7 billions were CPEC payment adjustments. All the 3 weapons systems will cost way more. Perhaps around $5 billions or more.

According to J-35 lead developer Wang Yongqing:

1- J-35 is designed to counter stealth Threats. To me this means this jet can counter US F-35 and F-22s along with other stealth assets such as drones.

2- Multi-Domain Coordination. To me this means J-35 can interface and operate any asset within the network including those located at land, air, sea and satellites.

It can intercept something travelling at 10000 meters per second.

So it is over Mach 29.

I didn't make up those numbers.
HQ-19 is a legitimate ABM system but poorly explained in public domain.

"The tests in 2013 and 2014 successfully completed the interception of a simulated
missile at a height of over 200 kilometers and a relative speed of 10,000 meters
per second."

There is no live-fire demonstration of an intercept of an ICBM class RV from China for public consumption. However, the US confirmed that HQ-19 have ASAT capability:

The "missile" that was intercepted in 2014 was in fact a defunct satellite. This explains the claim of an intercept at "10000 meters per second" velocity but it is unrealistic as no satellite is known to fit the bill.

A satellite can also be tracked well in advance to find a window of opportunity for intercept from a particular spot. However, an ICBM class RV is a less visible object in comparison to a satellite in the outer space and also have a much smaller flight profile. Therefore, the window of opportunity to intercept an ICBM class threat is much smaller accordingly. Nevertheless, HQ-19 can be a useful tool as it can be used to engage select Indian satellites and ballistic missiles.

Janes Reports Pakistan to Acquire China’s J-35A Stealth Fighters in Major Airpower Upgrade

Janes, the world’s leading defense intelligence publication, has confirmed that Pakistan is set to receive China’s advanced J-35A stealth fighter aircraft—an export variant of the Shenyang FC-31 ‘Gyrfalcon’—with deliveries expected to begin within months.

A senior Pakistani government official told Janes that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) will be among the first international operators of China’s fifth-generation combat aircraft. “The aircraft will begin arriving within months,” the official stated, also confirming that PAF pilots are currently undergoing training in China to fly the J-35A. Details regarding the number of aircraft or the terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

The J-35A, developed by Shenyang Aircraft Corporation, represents a significant leap in stealth technology and combat capabilities for the PAF. Equipped with low-observable features, advanced sensors, and multirole versatility, the J-35A is designed to perform a wide range of missions while remaining undetectable to enemy radar.

According to Janes Defence News, this acquisition marks a pivotal advancement in Pakistan’s airpower strategy, placing it among the few nations globally operating fifth-generation fighters. The deal further solidifies Pakistan’s strategic defense partnership with China, especially in the area of next-generation military aviation.

As regional air forces move toward fifth-generation platforms, the induction of the J-35A is expected to provide the PAF with a decisive edge in future aerial combat scenarios.

Pakistan’s Satisfaction with J-10CE Performance

This latest procurement comes at a time when Pakistani defense officials have expressed high satisfaction with the performance of the Chinese-origin J-10CE fighters. According to defense sources, the J-10CE proved its operational effectiveness during the recent escalation with India, showcasing its precision strike capabilities and real-time battlefield readiness. The success of the J-10CE has reportedly reinforced Pakistan’s confidence in Chinese aerospace technology and paved the way for more advanced acquisitions like the J-35A.

As Pakistan moves to integrate the J-35A into its fleet, it is clear the PAF is positioning itself as a formidable force in the region’s evolving fifth-generation air warfare environment.
India has become testing and proving ground for Chinese equipment… i can see occupied archunal pradesh slipping away soon…..

India should relinquish all illegally occupied lands and return them to its rightly owners like China and Pakistan.

If you are depending on western source for Chinese system then you could get anything but not fact.

They have advanced sensor systems to monitor such activity. Chinese ASAT test in 2007 left a massive cloud of debris and sparked global reaction. The US confirmed that China conducted a non-destructive ASAT test in 2014 (i.e., the target was simulated for this test). Chinese sources also confirm that the target was simulated for this test.

I mean, not overly depends on western media as the source can always be selective, these test can't be hidden which is true, but it's the same for both side, when the US done any test, Chinese would have know too.

China is also welcome to provide information about American tests for general knowledge. Chinese evaluation can be very professional as well. I find Chinese evaluation of a conflict to be very informative for instance.

Chinese defence stocks surge as Pakistan buys J-35 stealth jets

Shares of Chinese defence firms jumped Monday after reports of Pakistan's plans to purchase advanced J-35 stealth fighter jets from China, according to a Bloomberg report.

AVIC Shenyang Aircraft Co., the J-35’s manufacturer, hit its 10% daily limit in Shanghai trading, extending gains for a third straight session. Aerospace Nanhu Electronic Information Technology Co. also saw a surge, rising as much as 15%.

The rally followed a formal statement on social media from Pakistan confirming its intent to acquire the jets, after weeks of unofficial reports.

Pakistani officials had earlier indicated that pilots were already in China undergoing training ahead of expected deliveries.

J-35 fighter jet offers stealth, long-range, and deep-strike capabilities

China’s J-35A fifth-generation fighter jet, soon to be delivered to Pakistan, features stealth technology, advanced sensors, and deep-strike capabilities that could significantly boost Pakistan’s air power, according to defence analyst Brandon J. Weichert.

Developed by Shenyang Aircraft Corporation, the J-35A is China’s second fifth-gen aircraft after the Chengdu J-20. It is equipped with an active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar, electro-optical targeting systems, and advanced avionics to enhance situational awareness and targeting precision.

Designed to evade detection, the aircraft’s stealth profile reduces its radar cross-section. It is compatible with long-range PL-15 and PL-17 air-to-air missiles, offering a major advantage in beyond-visual-range combat.

Powered by Russian RD-93 or Chinese WS-19 turbofan engines, the J-35A can reach speeds of up to 1,367 mph. Deliveries to Pakistan could begin by August, with pilots already undergoing training in China.

The jet is expected to replace Pakistan’s aging fleet of F-16s and Mirages. Weichert notes that the J-35A’s capabilities will enable Pakistan to better counter Indian air defences and conduct deep-strike missions, potentially shifting the regional aerial balance.
