PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

Disagree - the output of two WS-13s is equal to single F-135.
A more adaptive engine that could go into a “super F-35” would generate even more power.

What the J-35 is what the F-35 should have been even if single engine. Without the added weight and complexity of the Marine variant.

All stems from the usual “McNamara” legacy of “common cost savings”
Hi,

Agree about the power on the single engine part---but how much more power could the F35 use---.

It already is at its peak efficiency---.

I don’t think there was a serious super F-35 from lockheed.

One of trumps advisors may have mused or mistated something and he ran with it

Before 14th August Inshallah, finger crossed.

With Pl-17.
Ma'sha'Allah....

The entire world is counting on China to help deter this Devil of the devils, otherwise known as the Hindutva Terrorist State of Bharat that wants put an end to the world we know via a nuclear war. This Melun-el Melun Habis-el Hbis is getting exposed to the entire world....

Hi,

The truth ultimately comes out---took many a years---now we know why the chinese went for the twin---because they had taken the info on the twin engine---.

And when Trump mentioned the SUPER F35---I did not realize till those american jockeys mentioned it in their interview---.

This is so crazy---pakistan ends up getting the "SUPER F35" copy---.

Haters be hating---"un kay ghar mein maatum kaa samaa bandha hua hai---apnay baal noch noch kay nikal rahay hein---cheekhon pay cheekhain nikal rahi hein"---

There is a situation of mourning in their homes---they are pulling their hair from their scalp---their screams can be heard worldwide---( is that the right translation ) pakistan is going to get the SUPER F 35---.
But how can everything be a copy…. I always thought j-20 and 35 were local designs….

I think it's just Trump being Trump.

Remember, he replaced LED lights in the white house with old incandescent light bulbs because he thought that LED was a waste, and that they hurt his eyes.

And also tried to replaced the EMALS system on the US Navy's ACs because, and I'm quoting here "I like steam better".

He's just an idiot with Dunning-Kruger effect cranked to a 1000%, and somehow his followers can't actually see past his facade, which makes me think that tens of millions of Americans are actually genuinely just plain mentally handicapped.

Western propaganda always reached to a conclusion of COPY of this cooy that historically….no wonder they will try to downplay this achievement as well….. we have now numerous examples of innovation coming out China… i doubt j-35 is remotely related to anything US have, had or intend to have in future

Hi,

Stealth design is limited by its geometry---. The best stealth design is to copy the best available design---.

The J35 is a copy of F35---. The J20 is a sort of original design---.

And alone this sentence proves that you have NO understanding at in this program, the different variants, number of prototypes and designations!
nearly everything is wrong in this statement.
No matter what we do, those who are “mentally stubborn” will continue to hold on to their stubborn prejudices.
Just as many Indians still firmly believe that their Tejas is the best fighter jet in the world, capable of easily defeating China's J-20......

For example, this:
That’s why i say we don’t need FC-31 , its very old
J-35 / A developed from J-31.
They have no idea about the relationship between the FC-31, J-31, J-35, and J-35A. Even though the previous posts in this thread have already provided detailed explanations on the subject, they won’t bother to read them. Instead, they prefer to keep spinning in a whirlpool of deliberately fabricated rumors......

Literally just saw this.

I really don't like these guys. They're pros (supposedly), but its clear they don't do a lot of research when it comes to air forces of countries outside of the US, EU and Israel.
This man is a retired F16 pilot who love dogfight and he doesn't even wanna hide his arrogance when it comes to Chinese.

Really? One idiot on the internet mentioned the PL-17 - maybe not even knowing what it is - and since then all are nuts! :ROFLMAO:
Stricter moderation and warnings could solve this issue honestly. Even just a pinned thread explaining certain rumours, but at the moment anyone is allowed to spam as much rumours as wanted.

Especially the 3rd guy, Wombat (who is NOT a regular), said exactly what Pravin Sawhney (Editor, FORCE Magazine) stated earlier today on Karan Thapar's (The Wire). And that is the Pakistan Air Force is not only getting the 5th Gen Jet, but also the KJ-500 (AWAC) & HQ-19 (SAM), which makes a lethal combination that some analysts have called: "Integrated Air Defence Trinity".

Q. Does anyone know the difference between the HQ-19 & the HQ-22?

Note: During Indus Shield '24, the PLAAF brought the KJ-500, along with the HQ-22.
HQ-22 is meant as a more cost effective version of filling long range anti- aircraft SAM role. Traces its lineage from local developments (H-200 radar, first phased array and Chinese attempt to replicate the Patriot radar specs), OTH the HT-233 radar that comes with the HQ-9 is developed from the Russian Grave stone that comes with S-300 and S-400. Both radars are phased array.

Both systems come with SARH missiles, but the HQ-9 missiles are probably more capable since they are born from the S-300 family while the HQ-22 derive from the HQ-12 which some have said is comparable to the HAWK (Patriot percursor) missiles.

HQ-19 is pure anti-ballistic missile (think THAAD), radars pointed up into space not at horizon, and associated differences in electronics (bands they operate in) and software (return filtering algorithms probably).

Well, last time I checked "the Govt. of Pakistan tweet", it was deleted!
Hmm, interesting, I had anticipated: "PMO will be getting a wrap on the knuckles from AHQ for letting this out prematurely"
