Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Iran should stretch out its response to last many months. Israel is "banking" on a quick exchange, so that they can "bank" what they have achieved at low cost to itself.

Respond with what?

No Israelis will be flying all over Iran looking for the TELs

IR leadership are literally some of the dumbest mother fuckers that were walking on earth yesterday. They couldn't predict an attack when the any random on Twitter could have told you it was happening. Despite getting played 20000 times, they were pursuing diplomacy seriously. Now they're saying they got deceived again. I doubt the idea of contingencies or actually being proactive has crossed their collective minds even once.
I manage a project where I had to prepare contingency plan, GAP analysis and business continuity plan to ensure that the operations remain unaffected during xyz disasters including earthquake even though Saudi is not prone to earthquakes. I am flabbergasted by Iranians helplessness and now only hoping that they have secret bases on the areas near to Pakistani borders where they can launch ballistic missile attacks.

Israeli military says country needs to prepare for "prolonged operation"

From CNN’s Tamar Michaelis and Nadeen Ebrahim

Israel must prepare for “a prolonged operation,” Israeli military spokesperson, Effie Defrin, told reporters on Friday.

“We will continue operating until the war’s objectives are reached,” Defrin said, referring to tensions with Iran as well as Israel’s war in Gaza.

The spokesperson said that Israel is preparing for a response from Iran.

“We know they’re preparing for a response and to fire at us,” he said.

Defrin added that most Iranian drones fired in retaliation toward Israel Friday were intercepted.

buddy entire IRGC-ASF leadership met in underground C&C bunker and were taken out immediately on day 1 (exactly same fate as Redwan Forces leadership)

there is no one left to coordinate this response
Unlike militia group
IRGC may be a proper conventional military force.Near-pear commanders will be next in line to take over but i agree it will take time to stabilize and regroup so response will be delayed.

You got a reading comprehension problem son? I'm, talking about Iraq AFTER SADDAM, where have the sanctions on Iraq been since 2004? 21 years and 0 air defense purchases.
Understood, and my apology. it's under severe occupation, not to mention that the folks put into power in all of these countries are chosen for their priorities which doesn't include national security. An empire is needed in the Middle East by an organic, native country. Have to forcefully politically unify the whole region or as much of it. Sell off the smaller pawns to make strategic decisions. Iran should have sold out the Kurds and Armenians to make peace with the Turks, and sold out the Lebanese and Bahraini Shias to accommodate the Arabs. Should have sold out the Syrians too long time ago. Act as a ruthless empire vs what you see today. A lot less lives would've been lost across the region. Here we are.

Iranian president asks people to trust Iran’s leadership after Israeli attack

From CNN’s Mostafa Salem

Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian urged the Iranian people to remain unified and trust Iran’s leadership after Israel struck the nation in an unprecedented attack on Friday.

“I ask the entire nation to maintain their unity… at the same time to trust the officials,” Pezeshkian said.

“The nation needs unity… more than ever,” he added.

The president vowed to give Israel a “tough, rational and powerful response”.

Top officials from the Islamic Republic have been issuing warnings to Israel after an attack killed its top military commanders, scientists and hit its nuclear facilities.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned that Israel will face “severe punishment” while the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi called the attack “a declaration of war”

Meanwhile, crowds of protesters rallied in Tehran on Friday, calling for retaliation against Israeli strikes on Iran.
