Will the Turkish Navy work with South Korean industry to develop the TF-2000 Destroyer? The design is similar and like the Altay Tank, collaboration could help speed up the Turkish project and perhaps help make the final product better.

Pakistan also has a desire/requirement for 6 vessels of a similar size. At least 64 VLS cells, but obviously of the highest quality/technological capability to make it future proof.

Thanks for the clarification. Btw, is the carrier design locked in, or is Turkey considering an angled flight deck to recover fighters allowing simultaneous launches and recoveries; a light ski jump carrier.

Turkey doesn't need help building corvettes, frigates, destroyers, etc. Where Turkey needs help is submarines, thats the one area where codevelopment would be beneficial. Otherwise Turkey is largely self sufficient on the ship building front. Everything except for the propulsion system, Turkey is more or less building inhouse.

An important threshold has been crossed on the road to MİLDEN class AIP Submarine

Submarine construction steel imported from Austria was localized by Milux OY company in Turkiye and delivered to GOLCUK Shipyard



Also Domestic and national fuel cells, main electric motors, batteries and various types of sonars are under development

Turkiye will start the construction of MİLDEN Submarine at GOLCUK Shipyard in 2025

Embargoes can slow down but never stop the Turkish defense industry
